I have this helmet in FDE, I am impressed with it too. Nothing like an art project installing all the loop. I guess they were trying to eliminate a step to keep costs down.
I always used a heavy piece of shock cord (bungee cord) kinda like whats built into this helmet on my NOD to pull the device taunt so it was always in the same place when I pull them down. Kinda takes the play out of the shroud/mount
Pretty cool, and good review. They make their own helmet cover, but I ordered one from Savotta that is compatible and looks cooler (all that matters, right?). Im curious if anyone else has compatible helmet covers, maybe somewhere like UR-tactical that does a lot of cool colors for pretty cheap. The Savotta is opscore style but they clearly state it fits the ARCH. Most other companies don't state if their opscore covers will work with ARCH...
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching! I assume that most OPScore covers would work as they're very similar in shape, but some of those covers are too expensive to play guessing games with.
Idk if I can answer that honestly man...I've shot the pdg and it passed with flying colors. Haven't been able to shoot an hhv to compare. I've seen plenty of videos on both and they seem to be right on par across the board for the most part, as far as them both being legitimately 3A armor. Wish I could help you better my dude.
Great review! Any experience if this would be considered more of a super high cut or a high cut? Maybe I have some weird head shape, but the simple high cuts tend to interfere (a little) with my earpro, so the seal is a bit broken. AFAIK the super highs solve this problem. Question is, if this helmet has more space. (Using ARC rail earpro mounts)
Little correction about the weight, you've got the wrong figures for how much Team Wendy or Ops Core helmets weigh. The ARCH is 3 pounds as a complete system, but I'm guessing you found figures that were just the shell without all the pads and straps, or maybe you found figures for non-ballistic versions, for TW and Ops Core. Team Wendy Exfill Ballistic SL or Ops Core Fast SF are going to be 2.2~2.3 pounds as a complete system (and $1650~$2,100), and those are the best/lightest available to the public right now. 1.5 pounds? No such luck (yet)

Does it accepts the ballistic face shield from atomic defense ?

That's what I'd assume...but still lol
They got option for Unity tactical summit shroud for 60 euro now on the shop
Nice niceee
Adhesive furniture felt foot pads work great as shims between the shroud and mount, there are diff sizes and colors.
Interesting
Here to learn and here to help :)

This seems to be a close enough match to the opscores that it would take their helmet covers. Do you know if it does?
I believe it will from what I've heard, but I'm pretty sure pgd sells their own that would work forsure obviously
@@TerriblyTactical I just have an opscore one so it would be nice to not buy another
@@catalystactual6491 I hear that

I'm not sure but I would assume so
So if you had to bet your life on one, who’s QC would you trust more between HHV and PDG? Shroud issue aside.

Awesome review! Planning to buy it soon, will the HHV A3S Lite Helmet Shroud and HHV M-LOK Rail fit on this helmet?
The shroud definitely should but the rail I'm not 100% sure on. Thanks for watching!

It's been perfect for me. I know what you're talking about too. Idk if it's iper high cut but it seems higher than a standard.
It would be VERY beneficial for your viewers if you included a link to the video where you shot this helmet...

Hello!
Any ideea if some of the agilite helmet cover will fit the PGD Arch?
Not sure as I wouldn't ever buy from them
@@TerriblyTactical Why not?
Do ops core arc rails fit on the helmet
I do believe so but there's no reason to switch them out imo.
They do, I changed the rails, shroud and bungies on mine.
@@leesurferdude nice! Good to know, thanks!
