I just got this game on sale after seeing your SGDQ run and you make this look so absurdly easy. It's pretty tough to get used to even basic techniques when you are someone who plays games only every few months.
on one of the levels I noticed an unusually huge speed. I decided to figure it out, and noticed that on the edge of the platform through sliding and dashing, you can gain huge speed for a jump. This was an indispensable skill
I'm playing on switch which means some of the tech isn't really possible at times due to the fps the console has but honestly it's quite fun for just a casual playthrough, helps accentuate the already fast feel of the game
playing naturally I so far discovered that that dashing of the ledge and jumping durring coyote time allows you to gain velocity form on ground dash but mid air it isn't as effective as tricks shown here but it is ridiculously easy to do
I was forced to hit the sub button. I've never tried or had interest in speedruns, so I can say with confidence, this is an amazingly, perfect tutorial.
during my first palythrough i realised i go faster when doing a ledge jump since i alreayd knew about coyote time and realised about 10% into the game sliding off an edge made you faster, but i didnt know alot of this other stuff, so thanks
Hey man watched this video so many times. Really helped me get better at GR. I'm curious of your going to make videos for GR2? The movements seems different and I can't zip around the way I can in the first game so your help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Found i can bind dash to middle click and shift at the same time. I have a special mouse so I can just bump the side of the mouse with my index without taking it off left click and dash. Even if I hold my middle mouse button down it doesn't go into sensory boost so I don't even need to worry about that
i discovered the DSJ on accident and was like holy crap... i went to the advanced movement video and was like w h e r e I s i t ? Then i realized its in the basic video... Then i watched a Ghostrunner speedrun....
Damn the SDSJ is so hard. Im a new player i got the game because i watched a speedrun and it looked kinda like titanfall 2. But i just dont get the timing. I can do every other of these everytime. I started playing around 2 days ago. I just need to practice more
Hello Blaidan ! I've seen your 24:50 world record and its amazing ! Can you make a tutorial for Master rank on kill runs? I would love to have the special glove and sword.
Yes i have a question, the backwards acceleration how do you maximize your speed while flying backwards, is it hitting back as fast as possible or is there a rythm to it or something. Great vid btw^^ edit: nvm i just found out that there is a second video i guess its in there
Thanks dude, I'm playing now an got stuck on up the tower where there's 6 dudes I have to kill I get to to next part but no matter how many times or directions I get to the last dude an i die, can some one please help
Can you give some tips for console players please i just wana go really fast and ive already seen the advance, i can get it down some times but i still mess up any tips???
@@Blaidan ive been trying and its not really good. i can do the slide jumps but its near impossible to chain them together. and the ledge jump things dont work either
@@RA77AAN no you can do it, im on controller and mnk on Xbox and i can perform pretty much everything the same, you just have to practice it, i found it easier on controlling for some movemo
criminally underrated video
ghostrunner is kinda underated

I'm glad there's someone out there like me ! I died 160 times on the tutorial level after I got the game yesterday lmao
Everyone does die 100+ time when playing for the first time. My record : 174 deaths
2024 here. Still watching the video. Thanks for the info.
Wait a minute aren’t you the titan fall guy
I beat this game without knowing like 90% of this. Great info and will definitely use next time I play

thanks dude, the key binding is very useful
The binds alone helped me improve a lot! I use my own binds but it's still a great tip.

Trying to do a Ghostrunner speedrun. Thank you so much

If these techs were basic, i dont even wanna know the pro/advanced ones. I still cant do half of these consistently.
So useful man🤯
Pretty cool. Thanks!
5:12 ive been doing this my entire play though to save my self and get to places im not ment to lol 😂
Peace
do one for ghostrunner 2 too plz
slide hop like in titanfall hold down slide and keep jumping when you it the ground easy as that
I use the slidehop backwards because funni. And ledge jumping actually does something? I thought it just felt faster
What's updog?
For the double dash slide jump what’s the sequence of inputs? Is it dash-dash-slide-jump or is it dash-slide-dash-slide-jump?
Just dash-slide-dash-jump, guess I could have clarified that, my bad.
@@Blaidan thank you! That’s the one tech I didn’t know how to do

if you get used to this movement, the killruns are not really a challange anymore, it takes some practice tho
I gave up this jumping from wall to wall did my very best can not do it seriousely
Holy shit I had no idea this game was this complex...

Could you made a tutorial of ghost runner on Nintendo switch
where did you get that mps (and sword tee hee) counter from?
Can someone explain me how i show the keystrokes like he does.
My binds:
Dash:number lock
Jump:f3
Crouch:enter

I’m kind of late but do these work with controller?
Not sure about the effectiveness of controller on this game. Most runners play on keyboard and mouse.

Pogger 👏👏👏
does this work on console?
This vid gets a like just for the updog joke
Sooooo…. I should have gotten it on pc? 🤔
It all can be done on controller. I play on pc but on controller and it’s better then mnk imo
@@bigboar0074
Yeah, it’s a fun game… but I have died so many times 😭
I dont need the vid i just wanted to watch and i feel like being on controller might be a disadvantage
