If you have problem with input not registering, cap your frame rate at 60fps. Ghostrunner, due to various mechanics related to time, has frame based inputs, so capping it or lowering your graphics settings should solve the issue. Cheers!
Inputs were fixed in the latest patch by switching to fullscreen. Otherwise, disable DPI scaling in compatibility options.
Ah I returned the game based on this issue and frame drops. I have a 144hz monitor so I'd much rather just wait for the game to get fixed then to play it at 60 capped. It's a shame too because I was REALLY enjoying it.

The geometry of the environments is incredibly accurate in terms of hit boxes, sometimes a little too accurate. There were moments where a tiny ledge near the ceiling or a garbage bag was just enough for the Ghostrunner to try climbing it. Aside from that and a couple bugs here and there, incredible game.

The puzzles are kinda unintuitive I feel, there were a few times where figuring out the goal actually took me longer than solving the puzzle.

I loved this game and the only complaints I had were basically the ones in the video and that sometimes loading into levels was ridiculously long but I'm guessing thats the reason why you can instantly respawn

Of all the reviews on youtube for this game, this is the only one that I've found that doesn't spoil any of the surprises or interesting mechanics in this game. Super well packaged, concise and coherent to the point that you just want to experience the game for yourself. I bought this game only because of this video, if I had watched anyone else's before this one I probably wouldn't have spent the money. Fucking amazing game
I'm so happy to find out that Charlie reviewed this game. I only found out about it early last month, and I had a blast playing it. Literally played the entire story over again, then tried it on the hardest difficulty. So much fun, and highly recommend.

This is a game that has to be played to be fully enjoyed I honestly didn’t think I’d enjoy it from videos but first mission got me hooked. Adrenaline with solid beats
Speedruns for Ghostrunner are awesome. In fact, the speed tech in general elevates the gameplay to a new level with how much you can manipulate your momentum to find creative new approaches to encounters or just to be fast as shit.

I hang out with frequent tournament winners and I’m at g 30 ish but we still don’t know all the movement, no one does. Ghost runner looks great and fluid in general, but titanfall 2 has faster movement if u have the skill

One game i didn't expect you to play. I got it day 1 and was hooked. And to see such a high score that I absolutely agree with is great.
I want Charlie to play that Ghostbusters game on the 360 that was basically a third person Luigi's Mansion with Bill Murray in it.
it’s great, I loved every minute of it, my eyes were bloodshot half the time and I learned there are new types of radiating wrist pain that go to my fucking chin, although only complaint is that it’s a little short, and there’s no endgame but would def recommend if those don’t bother you
There IS endgame. Play through the game, but this time do it faster and die less. You have all upgrades unlocked from the start when you reply levels.
Try new builds out. And pray that the developer invests in either extra content updates/DLC, or a level design tool for community.

I pretty much agree with everything you said. For me, the only other criticism I’d like to add (although minor) is that I wish the music had a few more tracks. I just finished that laser tower level and it was amazing. So much bob and weaving and 142 deaths but I barely realized how much I died because I just wanted to keep pushing on. I never felt defeated, it always felt like “you got this, go for it again”. Feels nice.
I just got the the city area and the feeling of traversing that area is fantastic! Just traversal in general is glorious. Going to pull myself all the way up that damn tower.

But idk from my experience the driving seems pretty normal at best and mediocre at times, I've just seen a lot more games that do driving better than GTA 5 in particular, I just found that as a very weird comparison as I don't think driving is the best part of GTA 5 (even if it's fun in a 5 star chase or whatnot.)

Just finished up this game today, and while I honestly haven't played many games that came out this year, it's probably my personal Game of the Year. So much fun, I'm definitely going back and getting all the collectibles & achievements I missed.

Platinumed this game last night and it's in my top 5 favourite games along with titanfall 2 mirrors edge 1+catalyst and dying light. I am gonna speed run this game and I've found tons of skips which like 60%of them feel intended
What I think is rly cool is that you can run on every walls, not just the parkour walls. You can just get « out » of the map (useful in speedruns)
