He is going to change everything riseup
Looking forward to seeing what Arthur can do.
Lets goooo , we already have the players now we just had needed the right coaches, now that we got the offense part, we just need the defense part
Offensive Line, RB, a new Backup QB, out offense still had huge holes
@@johncrews1067 we can plug all that up through the draft with young talent. Getting FAs is gonna be impossible with our cap
We need a better offensive coordinator
@@Jesse-nv2sb Arthur Smith is calling plays. The OC will help scheme and game plan. The offensive play calling will improve.
@@rrebelatl even if he does all of that we still need a better one no matter what
I'm excited. Falcons got my first choice for coach and GM. Bout time we getting the offense some motion and different formations. Matt excelled in the wco. Smith should also bring our run game back. Lets go!
Man, this going to be good
I LOVE THIS HIRE
Formation,motion,play action.
Hopefully this works
Been saying this since Jerry Glanville
@@SmackYaMama 😂
I love the move the Falcons need to get back to running the ball
Gotta get us a running back then. Who do you suggest?
@@brandon_jo_el maybe the kid from Alabama if he falls the second round
@@YusukeKnight maybe even javontae williams from North Carolina
What about the back from Clemson
A heathy running back that takes care of the ball is good back. Basically if we run certain blocking schemes that fit the carrier's run style we good....
These videos from DJ are great. Keep it up guys
I'm taking the wait and see approach..GOOD JOB D.J.
We’ll see
It's amazing how bland our offense has been the last 2 years, to the point who would've known that the NFL allowed offensive coordinators to scheme players open? (Yep, shots fired at Dirk Koetter)🤣
NO SLOGANS
Lmao
Loving this hire, can't wait to see what he does with this offense 💯
Great video 👍
❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤 let’s go falcons dirty birds. ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤
DJ Shockley gets the bag! Much respect!
DJ - can we get more of these film breakdowns?
I love the way Shock can breakdown a play! He does some breakdowns on the Falcons App. usually after games. I would really like to see more of it though.
Will see
DJ Shockley!!!
He will simplify things for Matt Ryan no doubt.
Ryan doesn't need stuff simplified, we just needed Koetter gone.
I’m back to support my team now that they finally made coaching staff changes. RISEUP!
We’ll seen when the next season comes up
Had to comeback
For the victory lap lmao
We’ll have a winning record next year purely because we can run a half decent offense
He’s an upgrade over Dan Quinn. Unlike Quinn, Arthur Smith seems to be open minded and learn from his mistakes. I’m really excited about this new head coach and GM.
One of the dislikes is Dirk Koetter, out of jealousy.
I'll believe Smith is as good as advertised when I see it. He had some good people helping him in Tennessee, and not just Derrick Henry. Dan Quinn was supposed to be a guru too.
You do realized, the Packers current head coach Matt LeFleur was the Titans OC in 2018 and the offense averaged 19.4ppg which was ranked 27th in the NFL.
And Derrick Henry wasn't "Derrick Henry" yet. Cause he only rushed for 1,059 and he came on late during season. Arthur Smith became the Titans OC in 2018, and Ryan Tannehill came in middle during the season as a starter and lead the Titans to a 9-4 start after a slow start. And he threw for 22 touchdowns 6 picks with a 117 QB rating. the Titans finished the season with the 10th ranked scoring offense and top 5 rushing attack and Henry won the rushing title in 2019 lol. And he also help players like Delanie Walker TE become one of the NFL top TE's from 2013-2018 being the Titans TE coach.
The question will be how important is the running back position? Because the Falcons don’t have one!
With our current number of draft picks, we can get one. A balanced rushing attack is key for him, so I’d highly believe he would want to advocate for the drafting of a work house to reduce the load on Matt Ryan
Definitely day 2 of the draft
First play I'm not a huge fan of throwing it short of the goal line.
2nd play with Matt is quick TD, he reads that coverage before the snap and goes quick to open guy.
Same o same o
Image how much more dangerous these plays will be when Falcons draft Kyle Pitts and Javonte Williams!!!
Receivers (including TEs) are 100% our best position group. Why would we ever draft Pitt's?
@@campbell686 smith runs a lot of 2 TE sets!
@@The__Nation we have multiple tight ends
Lol we not drafting pitts . We already hsbd hurst
@@tubagod3893 not anymore there free agents . But we can always draft one in the 6th round
Should have shown this to Julio.
Matt Ryan should end up being a superior offensive coordinator.
I miss you working with Jay Adams and that other guy.
And that other guy😂
@@brendanhitchcock7629 i forgot his name. Do you remember his name? I would like to check him out on Twitter.
@@FalconsWhiteSox no I just thought that how you said that was funny
We need to get naje in the second round if he falls!!!
Yeah. Arthur would need another Alabama RB to work with
He picks the 3 best things a player does thats what he has them master. He wants a wrinkle he adds the player that does what he needs. It simply things but it does take away players creativity in game. Its very robotic ans systematic. No back yard play. Its no progressions just the play he picks.
Get used to seeing wr run the same route over and over lol
No check downs, few screens and half back in the flat like this.
He only used 2 reads or if its 3 or 4 thet are all in the view of the qb .
He may think Matt can read more wr but I doubt it i bet he simplys and ask less if Matt Ryan since he's kinda struggled with so many reads the past couple years.
We better get Najee Harris with our first round pick!!
I like him but 4 is too early. Take Wilson first and pray Etienne is there in the 2nd 🙏🏾
@@disDoC53 We don’t need a QB Matt Ryan is good. Dirk was the problem, dude didn’t know how to call plays and use the players we have.(Jones,Ridley,Gage,Hurst etc) Having Arthur Smith is great he’ll know how to use our players
@@elizapata3082 yes, I’m confident he will get the best out of MR2 with this scheme as well. But, it would be smart to grab the QB of the future now to learn from Matt for the next year or two, especially with how strong this QB class is. If things go well we won’t be picking this high again so we need to take advantage. They could even trade back a bit and take Trey Lance who ran a similar scheme at NDSU, then take Najee or Etienne later in the first if we trade back in or whoever is there early in the 2nd.
Not at 4...
@@money0925 yes we need a quality running back and if you haven’t watch Najee highlights I suggest you should
A dislike from a jealous person I bet
Who dat?!
@@ThatsaToilet who dat aints 🤡🤡🤡🗑️😂
Offense sell tickets, defense win championships, ask the Ravens, ask Denver.... Falcons been scoring, they can't stop 🛑 the other from scoring
I really hope we do better but I’m not gonna gonna get all my hopes up and listen to all the hype and then we start doing bad cause it’s his first year....then fans say oh he’s ass etc etc
The NFL fan community at large has no idea what is about to happen with the Falcons
There's a chance The Falcons might pick Najee Harris with there first pick in the draft. But I expect Zac Wilson to be selected in the first round.
#RiseUp
I think ryan got 1 more year but i want to see if we get Zac or a db with our 1st rounder
@@cerebral7997 I think Matt Ryan has one more year on his contact.
Personally I would love to see Atl with a premier RB it been a long time.. Give Matt a running game then let’s see but I’m totally for drafting a Qb for the future now
@@TerryTurner lets try to do a chairs where we draft a qb ryan mentor him just like Alex Smith did with mahomes and we be set
@@cerebral7997 what about a pass rusher like kwity paye
When was the scoring issue that always sunk Atl? STILL NO DEFENSE Another Smith, Rankin & Dan.
I can't wait to come back to this video during the 2021 season. And laugh at your comment, give this man a chance. Dan Quinn got too much credit for Pete Carroll defensive scheme. . Arthur Smith was the mastermind behind the Titans offense the past two seasons being their OC. Packers current head coach Matt LeFelur was the Titans OC in 2018. And he didn't even do what Smith has done the past two seasons for the Titans
Yeah so what about defense
The guy isn't magic, there is nothing new he is bringing to the game. All that matters is if they have the players to execute. That offensive line looks suspect.
Thank you for capitalizing End zone and Touchdowns. 🙄
Why do yall come on the internet and breakdown what we're doing or what we will possibly do smh. I've look at a couple different teams and all they talk about is what they did in past seasons not what their gonna do.. and ppl wonder why we get our ass handed to us cas ppl already know what we doing before the dam season starts
Get us another QB to help Matty ice please someone who can run
Excited about nothing.
falcons would've won a couple super bowls if that brat shanahan would've stayed lol
They didn't need Shanahan to stay, they needed to keep Matt LaFleur and promote him to OC.
Most overrated head coach prospect ever. Doesn’t punt on 4th down and doesn’t understand the value of field position.
Trade for Deshaun Watson
