Looking for a trail camera for my mom for Christmas. We are not using it for hunting, but she wants it setup at her horse barn which also has chickens in case a predator of some sort comes along which happens every once in a while and she wants to catch it on camera. The problem I think I’m running into is that during the day our dogs are constantly down there and she is constantly down there as well so I’m assuming it would be taking tons of pictures. Trying to find something simple that she can use and maybe look at the photos on her phone. Anything specific I should be looking at?
It looks like in the app they have a schedule under manage device. The default setting has it on every day from 12:00 am - 11:59 pm. You can change it to the time you want looks like. You would probably be fine with night only pics. You might not want to point it at the chickens but they should be on the roost at that time. There is a product thing to the left in the video that has where you can click on it to see different prices and order if you want to. Walmart has the one in the video for $74. The place I got mine was academy sports. They have the best deal but they come in 2 packs so the price is 103 but you get 2. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions.
@@HilderbrandOutdoorsthat’s super helpful actually! Thanks so much for the reply. So then every morning if there were pictures taken at night she could just check and look on her phone rather than having to take the SD card out and put into a computer?
@HilderbrandOutdoors Yeah this seems perfect for what she’s trying to accomplish. And just for my complete understanding, the camera sends them to your phone automatically because of the cell service correct? That’s something you would not be able to do with an SD only camera?
