As a new homeowner in the area, your channel is exciting to watch. I told my wife when we moved to Hurricane last year that this area would blow up in the next few years. Love showing her these updates
Premium quality video! I was aware of nearly all of these projects, but the drone footage really made it come to life. The old timers' way of making "La Ver-uh-kin" rhyme with "Hurricane" has rubbed off on you and I love it.
Love things like this. Hate when people whine about it. Yes, the mayor's don't handle growth well by any means but we need more commercial so we can actually do things around here.
Can you tell me if you know anything about the CheeseCake Restaurant opening here in St. George? What happened to this "rumor" which surfaced over 2+ years ago?
Hey Macrae, I was wondering if you knew details or just general plans regarding warner valley reservoir? We ride there and stage at the underpass close to long valleys new community. We are seriously looking at buying there is long valley due to its proximity to that access point. Bit if thats going to be a giant body of water as well as a recreational area like sand hollow, then it may not be the best location for us. I want to ride my dirtbike right out of my garage and not have to go miles to avoid some commercial recreational area. Any update on size and actual location?
@@macraeheppler Awesome thank you for getting back to me. If the area will be open for another decade at my age 60 yrs, i would be fine. I watch every single video you put out. You do so good by covering all of Washington county and beyond. Im always hoping for longer videos and slower camera shots but I understand it takes time and effort so i appreciate all you do to keep us informed . thank you again!!
No manufacturering! Where are the high quality, good paying, permanent jobs that aren’t related to health or recreation? It feels like more of a divide between the have and have nots.
Toquerville is not zoned for any kind of commercial use and remains a bedroom/retirement community. Both Toquerville and La Verkin are nothing more than thoroughfares anyway, while Hurricane is the real gateway into Zion NP. Manufacturing jobs are few and far between everywhere in Southern Utah and wages are notoriously low.. The vistas and scenery however, are simply stunning.
Born in St. George and raised in Toquerville… I’ve never heard it pronounced La Verikin, it’s always been La Verkin (love-er-kin)…and at 31, I’d like to think I’m a local 😂 I’m guessing La Verikin is more of a St. George pronunciation

Same!
We love your updates! Don't ever stop!
Thank you!
Great update. Even better drone footage!

Thanks man really appreciate that! And yes the "uh" is definitely there lol
Thanks for your updates.

It's been a rumor for a while now but no real traction with them yet at this point
Good stuff!
Cedar City please!
Any word on if Hurricane will be getting a Home Depot or Costco out here?
I haven't heard anything about either of those in hurricane
@@macraeheppler thanks…I’ll keep hoping!

Hey there. I don't have many details on that just yet but hoping to find out soon and plan to do a video at some point. Hopefully sooner than later

Any word on a Trader Joe's coming into StG ??
Not yet!
It is great you keep everyone updated on what is happening down in Southern Utah, but please pronounce the name La Verkin correctly. Thanks.
It is the correct way for us locals 😁
He pronounced it perfectly.
I think I speak for everyone in this little area….. SHHHHHHHHHHHHHUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSHHHH

@@jamesbaldwin7676 The vistas don’t put food on your table.
Every few months he does updates or both Tech Ridge and/or South River Rd (Industrial Park), which have manufacturing updates.
Too much traffic. Not quaint any longer. Tourist trap!
la Verkin is not spelled la Verikin.
No but it's pronounced that way by us locals 😉

@@brep249 Haha i guess it depends on who you talk to
Oh great, they’re going to ruin Southern Utah.
Would you rather the visitors to Zion camp out in the Walmart parking lot, or an RV park?
@@johnvann7027 if you build it, they will come. So yeah, Walmart.
They've already ruined St George. They just can't keep their hands off. There's no division between St George and Hurricane anymore they run together.
@@johnvann7027Seems we all got by without all of this before.
Ruined? I think it's better then ever and still can improve a LOT. But that's just my opinion
