      Elias Kinnunen i cant lie, the positions they're in do look quite 'gay' however it's a part of brazillian jiu jitsu and as long as it's useful it's ok i guess

    Thanks for featuring someone who really know it. I only practice tai chi now so Bjj is of great interest to me as they share similar philosophy. I have digested "hard" martial arts into their essence and they are all basically the same. There are a bunch of tricks for landing a good strike. They are all the same. I distinguished myself early on by spending a lot of time focusing on weaponry. I have advanced knowledge of weaponry. You might want to do a video about stick/baseball bat and knife defense! Very common. Make sure you put the time in and you will get good.
    See if you can get Dan Inosanto or one of his senior students to produce the weapon defense video! That would be spot on!

    Great video shane. What are your thoughts on the potential UA-cam fights going on regarding KSI, the paul bros, Adam saleh and Faze sensei? Everyone of them seems to be claiming how they are the best boxer/fighter among youtubers. Sounds like a challenge to you if I'm being honest. Would be nice to see you humble some martial artists. Be our generation's Bruce Lee !

    • @zunaidbh6623
      @zunaidbh6623 6 років тому

      bdpchamp man ksi is just too big he about 182 ....n yea he should fight Adam Saleh or faze sensei

    • @bdpchamp
      @bdpchamp 6 років тому +1

      zunaid bhuiyan I definitely would agree that size does matter in fights and that weight makes a difference, but that's typically when the skill sets are somewhat comparable. Shane is a fighter with amateur experience in boxing and has been training different combat styles his entire life. Whether it was MMA or boxing, shane would pick KSI apart, in any round he chooses. I'm much more interested in him taking on Faze sensei as it's a slightly better match up, although Shane is leagues ahead of these other guys. I just think as the best it's kind of his right to put these other youtubers in their place when they start talking too large as it's pretty disrespectful in that it undermines the work put into combat sports to actually be good. But yeah, out of the options that he gave, KSI should fight Adam.

    • @zunaidbh6623
      @zunaidbh6623 6 років тому

      bdpchamp see...ksi is much bigger than Shane ..(pun intended)ksi weighs much more and has a bigger image on this platform ....so he would neverr fight Shane ....n he is most likely to fight Lp as it's bigger business n .......shane more matches up with sensei as both has a fighting background....sensei bein in mma ....where I think shane is much better n has more experience in both mma n boxin ...yet sensei in looking for someone to box as the under card in ksi vs Lp....where Adam just wants to fight ksi...which he won't get

    • @zunaidbh6623
      @zunaidbh6623 6 років тому

      bdpchamp N you thinking shane would win a fight against ksi now isn't likely cuz ksi is much bigger n stronger n I think can knock Shane out.....yet they meet at a Same weight ....Shane would kill ksi.... weight does matter ...even shane agrees on that ....Shane yrs ago made vid saying this...showin a much bigger opponent beatin up his much smaller sparing partner sanchei(best mauy Thai fighter)

    • @bdpchamp
      @bdpchamp 6 років тому +1

      zunaid bhuiyan AS I SAID, yes size does matter but it matter most when either one is SIGNIFICANTLY larger, or the skill set is around equal. Shane partook in a Thai fight in which he took a MASSIVE elbow straight to his face and was not knocked out. Ksi who has been boxing for 4 months would not do shit to shane who has been boxing his ENTIRE LIFE regardless of his weight advantage. You must be one of the people who thought mcgregor could knockout mayweather lmao. This is just like that, except worse, as at least mcgregor was a fighter his whole life whereas KSI has trained for 4 months. Don't be crazy.

    Im no expert in bjj or whatever, but i just noticed i used a very similar technique to one of those... Have in mind weight 83kg and most of it is legs snd butt muscle, so, i actually was mounted by a bodyguard in a fight for fun(he weights about 15kg more than i do) and i did an explosive hipthrust and he was suddenly in mid airso i punched him with a hook and that threw him away from me, splitting his lip in two and making him give up
