@ApollyonGaming is the gem overflow still abundant there? Was thinking to change servers since mine has none available on town portal it's too highly priced.
OCE is in a much worse state. For example, 2/5 gloomcask are normally insta sell at 64k, just tonight I've seen them listed at just 18k.. same story for other popular 5* gems. Less popular 5* gems at just 16k. All red and yellow normal gems are down to only 100 plat each. Rank 5 1* gems (32 gem power) are being sold at 14k. It's almost impossible for legitimate players to sell anything are participate in the market currently. Buying eternal orbs is pointless. Blizzard must step in and take action to fix this issue before it's too late!
Confirmed on Hand of Justice server. 1 stars under 500, 2 stars under 3k, all non prime 5 stars well under 30k. Savior pets under 20k. Would love these deals if f2p/BP players had a reasonable way to make plat.
This is a win win for f2p, low spender and even whales. Market is not crashing, it is just transitioning from an inflated to a normal one. Whales can buy normal gems for 100 while f2p can buy legendary gems around 20k-30k platinum. Let's not reflect the real world inflation into this game

Something about this smells off.
I thought it was a bunch of alts sitting on dupes forever (Roiling wasn’t really affected at first), but the sheer volume of stupid cheap gems I’ve seen rolling across doesn’t make sense. If I had to posit a guess, there’s a new dupe method out there and it’s being kept quiet.
At the current moment, for the first time in forever, it actually makes more sense to just buy orbs, convert to plat, buy what you need and be done with it.
Simple economics. DI has undergone a massive disinflationary shock. Susan plat accounts cannot transfer plat, Blizz identifies them and bans the account, plat is out of circulation.
Ppl need to start realising that gem power should be around 300 plat, making 5 stars 15-20k plat
And yes, I am already buying orbs and converting to plat. This is what a spender like me has wanted for a long time. Blizz revenue may even increase

My Asia server popular gem did drop slightly but still exp. Around 55 to 64k though.
This is the best update ever. Market is finally returning to how it should have always been. Susan buyers can't easily get plat and it just shows you how many players we're using Susan.
I'm a spender, finally orbs to plat makes sense. I buy orbs and ourchseed 5 chips from market and still had 1600 orbs left.
Real spenders will slowly start buying more orbs as prices continue to plummet, Blizz bottom line remains the same, Susan's gets wiped out

@@CrazyhorseDK yeah agree, it will adapt, pets for example, but it's rampancy had reduced and means Blizz can track somewhat easier. Also, people running less alts which means less plat being created /day

Now that the market is crashing....people can't make plat for selling anything. I was hoping it wasnt going to happen to our server. Personally I have very low plat and not able to make any due to waiting to run crest. But now like you said its hardly worth it cause the best gems are now just sitting there and someone goes to uncut you.

I've never seen Bile, BSJ, Gloomcask, etc for that cheap. sapphire and aquamarine still sell for 400 within seconds. but anyway, my market is f**ked. can't sell any lego gems rn, it's like the Black Tuesday of the DI market... we're on the precipice of a DI Great Depression and I'm fairly certain my server won't recover
In my server tourmaline ,citrine and topaz are 150 already .. they were 300+ before update

I think the so-called market improvement is what is causing price-cutting...lowest item first makes people drop price just so it will come up where it can be bought...
Its Blizzard fault because they keep to long this predatory expensive micro transactions 😂
There’s a huge influx of legendary gems, they’re often the most stable priced items, but now all markets are shifting to adjust
The influx is called Susan express and they are putting Lego gems at lowest price to make plat from fraudulent orb accounts that get taken away in 24hrs. They have enough time to get orbs, buy crest, immediately sell one and 2 star gems and 3 hours for 5 stars. Blizzard fkd up with market chances and made it heaven for Susan and hell for normal players that don't wanna give away for free their gems.
Not in my server, 5 star leg gems are sold max price, normal gems dropped the price around 20%-50% except the blue ones still 400 each;
1-2 star leg gems dropped the price between 30-40%
It will come, the butcher server was like dis be4 tempewt update. I spent around 2m plat be4 update i got 5* phoenix sold for 576k and echling shade sold for 640k. Now those gems cannot even sell for 300k. It crazy how evwrything changed anf my dumbass spent it all be4 this haha i could have got 4x the amount of items and gems for that amount of plat with todays market
This may be the real numbers we should have without Susan express, who knows 🤷🏻

West coast NA still max price for everything. Good gems like BSJ, etc none at all.
I guess since it's harder to transfer plat now, Susan is selling less and so the buying side of the market is vanishing.
I bought sapphires today for 100 plat ... They completely ruined the market nothing sells unless its a 4/5,5/5 for very low to minimum price.
I don’t see why making the market only able to buy the lowest prices would crash the market. Before BSJ would always sell for max but now that it’s cheaper no one wants to buy it …. Seems backwards. Maybe it worked and before shady stuff was going on and now this is the true market

No, its not that.
Cheap gems sold are mostly susan express gems from accounts that get banned in 24hrs from buying orbs with stolen cc.
They buy crest, they run them, and sell everything as fast as they can and then move plat to accounts they use to sell u plat. Most players aren't selling their gems at dirt cheap prices so real world economy is dead as plat isn't really moving except for the one fraudulent accounts are using

Don’t understand the complaint. Yes you can’t get as much plats selling gems but the gems prices are a lot lower too so its all the same in the end. In fact its better for spenders who buy plats from the shop
U don't understand how economies work i assume. Low prices and alot of availability usually means that there's no more currency being moved so basically its a dead market and dead markets mean dead economy and dead economies just means the game is dead. They need to do something fast or the game wont be financially viable for them in a year or less

Lots of rank 5 one star legendary gems giving 32 gem power selling for 20k on my server. Clearly, these are from one star duplicate gems.

This just shows that most of ur sells weren't product of whales buying ur gems but plat sellers and now they are running crest with stolen orbs and then selling gems at super low prices.

i bought 4/5 Bottled Hope for 135k on my EU server just by converting orbs for platinum
