Thank for making the video. For stability and control, I would suggest putting the guide on the left side, so the heavier side of the saw is supported by the clamped board.
I recently purchased one of these as I already have several 20v 4ah batteries & thought it would be useful to have a circular saw I can use on my travels without worrying about extension cords. It's not as powerful as the corded version I have & is a bit smaller but it is super handy. For £29 you can't ask for more! I did almost burn out the motor the other day when pushing it too hard but saw the smoke in time & let it cool off. It seems to still work the same but something to bear in mind. I do think the issue may have been with the blade not being tightened enough, as I saw it was a bit wobbly & once I tightened it back up, it started cutting a lot better (obviously!). For accurate work I have a corded Mikita tracksaw but that requires a ton of accessories, so I can see myself using this Parkside a lot as it's just so convenient & can share batteries with my impact drivers, multi-tool & jigsaw, further reducing the weight of kit I take with me on jobs.
@@donmarkon The Best is to do a heavy-duty test as soon as you get home, if it fails, go straight to the shop and ask for a change. In Italy we have 7 days after purchase to to return the faulty item and get a new one.

Wich exactly model is this one? Lastly, depending of market, Parkside got variants. Seems light. Thanks for the test.
