The Sandlot is a low end adult mitt with a larger hand stall and the A1000 is a mid tier youth option with smaller hand stall.

I agree. I think the sandlot is nice for youth too. I am 12 but I have pretty big hands so it’s just right. The a1000 is a little tight when I tried it on. The sandlot is really good for under $100
