I own both phones and android auto makes apple CarPlay feel like trash. CarPlay only works decent if you use their maps and music. If you wanna use anything else you are always fighting with it and it’s super annoying.
I have both phones and if you have a mic you can make android auto do absolutely anything and everything without ever touching your phone. Apple CarPlay is complete trash compared to android auto. On android auto you can set any maps you wanna use as default and will open up when you talk to google, Siri only wants to use their maps and their music, android auto will open whatever you used last for maps or music or whatever you select. Apple CarPlay is complete garbage because if you are using ways and then tell Siri to take you somewhere it will do it on the maps, and music is the same. If you use anything but Apple Music or whatever it’s a disaster

Hey mate Android Auto will let you type on the phone if you use google app not google maps app tho Just incase you didn't know.
Yeah, that’s because they just released an update two weeks ago, video was shot couple months ago.

You get the same voice assistant feature, you press and hold the home button on CarPlay

Also on the part with responsiveness,you can clearly see that carplay it's much more responsive the AA which lags and it's slower
