Lovely color choice for the t-rex baby, love the eyes, love the head. My only... comments? would be: there was no 2 limb-dinosaur... they all had 4 limbs. By not adding even the smallest arms to the green dino you kinda went out of earth-biology. I know, I know, creative freedoms! But I can't unsee it, it makes me "see" it as incomplete. And, the belly of the t-rex... I kinda feel you went for the dragony-route in there, with the basic stripes. Somehow I don't feel they "match" really well with the amazing skin texture on the head. If I were a judge, this would be a 8.5/10. Good work!
Yes! Please continue thus series it is so good, and one of the reasons I first subscribed to the channel. I think the fact that you don't have control of the overall shape, unlike a custom armature, makes for pieces that you might not normally make because of the problem solving aspect of the process.
It is a wonderful transformation. He definitely made my sister's trex arms look amazing. We call her Rexy. He not only changed the sex he changed the whole species creating a new one. That's very impressive. As usual He did an amazing job.
Reading the comments, it’s pretty clear to see that we love the transformation videos and they are why a lot of people started tuning in, but I feel like maybe you don’t love doing them. You mentioned a couple of times, “I gotta do this so I can sleep at night and it is what it is because I didn’t make the armature.” I hope you still find them creatively stimulating. We want to see more, but we want you to be happy. ☺️
I also think his need for perfection and his aversion for people nitpicking gets to him. I don't think its the series so much as him adding more expectations on himself
Yay the thrift find transformation. Miss these so much. So glad your getting back to one of the reason i fell in love with your channel. Keep doing you baby boi
I was just thinking of Dinosaur Train! My 10yr old used to watch the shit out of that nonstop when she was little so it was the first thing I thought of.
What a throwback!! The first Ace of Clay video I ever watched was transforming the giraffe into a dragon (January 2019). Been here ever since so this makes me feel very happy. Great video.
The mentioning of the carnivorous plant at the beginning? I still would so love to see you make Audrey 2 from The Little Shop of Horrors one day! So happy to see you come back to the thrift store remake, it's one of these videos that started me on your channel originally!
Yay! Another transformation! I prefer it when the finished sculpture retains some of the “movement” of the original- more of a challenge than just using the original as a blob to put extra foil/clay on. The dinosaur holding the egg was a stroke of genius as was retaining the goose as a little Dino. It turned out great. More please.
I would like to see you do a trippy dripping melting acid drug monster in neon colors. Just to give you a completely different color pallet than your usual.
I’m pretty sure he did one like that? 🤔 it was a a goopy creature coming out of a toxic waste barrel? I could be wrong, but I know I’ve watched someone do it. 😂
So excited to see another classic AoC creation! I adore how this turned out! It was just perfect to be a couple Dinos! Would love to see another collab with you and nerdy crafter where she gives you a prompt and you have to make it come to life! :)
I’m a new subscriber and I’ve watched a ton of your content in the last few days. I didn’t realize you stopped the thrift store transformations! They are definitely my favorite series!
Always wanted to know why you got into Polymer clay? You don’t see many sculptors of your caliber using polymer clay. Have you ever tried another medium? Just wondering and yes I like these kind of videos.
I really love this one! I feel like they have such personality. Like they could be characters in a children's book. I'm glad you went with a more fun look with this one.
Yay! A makeover. Wasn't sure how you would pull this one off, but you did! Would never know there was a goose boy under there. As usual a great job Ace. Yes would love to see more makeovers.
I love love love these. I think it takes real genius to look at that little Hummel-type figure and think, hey, I think I’ll make a dinosaur. Thank you for posting another one of these. Your Ace Of Clay fan page on Facebook is filled with people who love your work. Thanks for what you do.
Loved this. Goofy looking dinosaur and brighter paints. Love the 'monsters' but it's nice to see something a little more light hearted once in a while.
I love your videos aceofclay I have an excellent idea why don't you make thrift store items from other thrift store items but in your style like recreating thrift store items
I think this is a fun series. I hope you do continue to do them. I like to see what you remake them into. Your creations are always fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your talents.
Tbh it looks more like a dragon without wings , but i think it still looks cool! You should keep doing thrift store transformations it’s a good exercise in my opinion!
Such a cutie you made! I really like when you step away from scary and gloomy monsters of yours and make something nice and sweet. Such a pity it doesn't happen more often.
I'm so so glad to see your old school content coming back!!! I've never clicked a video so fast! I dolike the mutant series but my faves are definitely more like your older content. I loved the creativity of this makeover and seeing the bright colours 🤗 Keep it up Anthony ☺️☺️
I have been waiting for another one of these, but good things are worth the wait. Awesome job. Also being a Florida Gator fan... Of course I think it is awesome... lol
Very cool! Nice to see a change of pace in the theme, different colour scheme, all of it! I like the mutant videos, but the return of a classic is awesome to see
Very nice sculpture! Love it. However I had a thought while watching you turn the duck into the dinosaur. You could have made the original piece into an older mother t-Rex protecting her baby (the duck) just an easier option I thought of ahah This one turned out super cute tho
Let me know what you think of this Thrift Store Transformation and if you want me to continue this series!! IG & Twitter @aceofclay

This is how I found you originally ……transformation
Absolutely! It's awesome to see such a big transformation. Love your work!
Whoa!!! This transformation was incredible!! I love the texture on the dinosaur's skin too. 🦕 🦖
Omg it that is u ,your r so sweet
It is a wonderful transformation. He definitely made my sister's trex arms look amazing.

Thanks Mira!!
@@aceofclay Howdy, quick question, what tools were used to make the skin texture, they looked metallic and was just curious if those can be purchased?
I missed your thrift store makeovers
How curious that you would have a rockruff. Timing is everything, I take this as a good omen.

He looks like he would be the main character of some kids cartoon I would’ve watched. I love him!
I was just thinking of Dinosaur Train! My 10yr old used to watch the shit out of that nonstop when she was little so it was the first thing I thought of.
It's got a Maurice Sendak feel to it. Where the Prehistoric Wild Things Are.
What a throwback!! The first Ace of Clay video I ever watched was transforming the giraffe into a dragon (January 2019). Been here ever since so this makes me feel very happy. Great video.
Same that video was amazing👍👍
As much as I love your current videos these videos are what made me fall in love with your channel. I hope to see more!
The sculpture ended up looking so cute.
About time we got another one really enjoy these
Agreed

i miss when you used to talk through the speed sculpt footage, not just music.
Same.
he still does just not in this video

@@sammioak811 well if you find out i'd like to know
@@sammioak811 he did do that but I was thinking 60's/70's psychedelic. I guess I could have stated that.

I sure missed this series, would love to see you continue it. It turned out great even though the baby dino looks like a baby croc. :)

These are my favorite!
Tbh it looks more like a dragon without wings , but i think it still looks cool! You should keep doing thrift store transformations it’s a good exercise in my opinion!
YES! Keep this series alive! Your original thrift store transformation videos were why I subscribed!
I think it's cool that it still kinda looks like the boy and the goose. It's like an homage to the original.
That dinosaur is the most cutest thing I've ever seen 😍
My favorite is thrift store transformation
It looked so derpy before its top lip was blended and I was honestly living for it ♡ 🦖🦖
Like the scales texture. I learn a lot watching your videos. Now, off to the thrift store to look around and imagine everything as an armature!!!!
Awesome man
Such a cutie you made! I really like when you step away from scary and gloomy monsters of yours and make something nice and sweet. Such a pity it doesn't happen more often.
Turned out great!!!
Omg I was going to ask if there would be any more thrift store makeovers! I love these ones 👍🏽
Wow Awesome!! Thanks for sharing 👍
I love how you make these look so easy and effortless. You should do the 'Wheel' you haven't done any of those for a long time
I'm so so glad to see your old school content coming back!!! I've never clicked a video so fast! I dolike the mutant series but my faves are definitely more like your older content.
I loved the creativity of this makeover and seeing the bright colours 🤗 Keep it up Anthony ☺️☺️
Wow, you captured my big sister's little trex arms beautifully!
Like seeing you repurpose stuff in you art. Nice work as usual. ♡
So glad you did this, ASI missed them. I love what you did with it. I also love that you used the blue instead of the green everyone uses.
Yes! I missed these!
I love this! For awhile, I was hoping it would be a dinosaur with his football and pet goose. :) But I like the little dino, too.
Super adorable!
I have been waiting for another one of these, but good things are worth the wait. Awesome job. Also being a Florida Gator fan... Of course I think it is awesome... lol

this was my favorite series back in the day! I am glad you brought it back!
Super cute!! Well done. I enjoy your mutant series, but I'm so glad you took a break from it to give us this delightful little dino pair
Yay! I like these.
This is so cute!🥺
Love this and especially the little Dino without arms. I was wondering if you might consider revisiting your alien and micah powder series.
please keep going with this series, i love the transformation.
Really like the transformation, it's so cute. I don't know why but I have a strange maneki neko vibe from it X). The "paws" maybe ?
Such an improvement 👏 Great job ❤ More transformations please 🙏 I got a bit bored of just mutants all the time x
yes continue with thrift store stuff AK
Yeees, that's how I first stumbled over ur channel a long time ago 💖
