Really nice dock, Josh. The install and leveling looked super simple. The aerator will definitely help. I've had one running for several years, and the difference is amazing. Looking forward to the floating dock install! Thanks for sharing!

What brand of solar aerator do you use?
My pond should be finished in the next day or two and I will be looking into a solar aerator. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Great concept. Movable for that winter ice and snow that build up with the pond freeze. Can be driven from pond to pond. Nice device.
In Arkansas they raise catfish and rice with pond systems.Wild rice would be great to draw ducks and trap those muskrats In PA they have disappeared…????
Tilapia does a GREAT job keeping your pond clean.
This is very cool!! I’m sure it’s even better for those with very cold winters, to just pull it out of the pond/lake..
Nice addition to the farm. The neighborhood beside me has a manmade pond with solar aeration which works/looks very nice. The water shoots up about 3 to 4 feet. They also put black metal coyote silhouettes around the pond to scare off bigger animals. Have a nice weekend !

You should get a hold of Joseph Carter the mink man. That would be a cool collaboration video. And you would get the muskrat problem solved pretty quickly!

A large marble or ball bearing makes a great field expedient level for "close enough" situations.

Very cool! I’ll keep an eye on this series. We are thinking of making a small “watering hole” for the horses. Btw… did you know you can eat cat tail roots? Supposed to cook them like a potato. What would be really cool is if Flow put in a built in level at the very end of that dock as you level the legs.
You forgot only one thing that I can think of Josh. What is it? Take a running jump off the end of the dock into the pond and yell cannonball. 🤣

I'd rather have bass and crappie than catfish. Bass put up a good fight when you hook 'em. Crappie are great starter fish for small 3-7 kids for fishing.
Looks good - would be easy to take in and out. Have been thinking of something similar for my dug out.

Wonder if Floe Docks makes an indestructible rod and reel keeper, and tackle box. That would be cool to have right at the dock. Ya would always be able to fish, without having to go get your equipment.

You didn't make a mistake.... you were going to end up with all those fish naturally anyway from birds bringing the eggs in on their legs.

I don't understand how the other fish species got in your pond. I know you planted catfish, that I understand but for bass and crappie getting in there without being planted makes no sense to me. This must be a part of nature that's new to me. By the way your doing great and never stop believing in yourself!!!
