I mean.... They are scribbles... But his scribbles does have amazing structures and good study of anatomy, just look at how he drew his father and mother.
Try drawing from your mind without a reference with someone posing like that, it's not easy.

so basically just learn anatomy and practice with a bunch of poses. if other people got this much praise for basic things such this then a better art would be considered some miracle. his drawings are shit, but thats not the point cuz he isnt an artist, he is a fashion designer.

He draws exactly as I do. It is based on the very first lessons of drawing, especially figure drawing, using gesture to conceptualized the the body and energy in general and in completion, that is top to bottom and side to side, feeling the internal and touching on each point of existence. Ex, starting at the head, quickly move down to the feet, back to the head, out to the far extremity (hand) and back to the opposite hand, the to the mid section, exploring all as you move on and adding new information as you repeat the over all gesture of the whole. Details come later if you desire them.
There is no magic, no "talent", but only knowledge, skill and practice, and choice. Anyone can do it. There are many other approaches and techniques as well, but this type better serves fashion and conceptualizing fashion design.
This is what I’m trying to explain to his fans (morons). There’s nothing special with his drawing skills.
You must have the EYE to imagine the distance between points. It is an inherited talent.

Some mediocre people of UA-cam criticizing the legendary Lagerfeld. How very interesting. Listen I was trained as a fashion designer the way he sketches isn’t as easy as it looks. He was so talented. Period.
I would volunteer to take out trash and get those torn sketches, take them home and patch them together. Imagine how much they'd cost torn or not😃

i think it was mentioned by his friend who gave the details on karl's house (outside paris). i think it was Szeleky (not sure if its the name of the brand but Lady said he was very fond of collecting desks and im also not sure if its from the same brand lol)
Not the greatest designer of his generation ....but certainly one of the most dynamic and charismatic designers of all time. RIP Karl, you were an inspirational man.

Anyone could draw like this. Even if they have never drawn before they could learn in a few minutes. Its just scribbles.

He draws with simple pens pencils and just some simple pastels and enjoy of every single lines he draw. And now todays kid be like oh we need touch marker FULL SET. We need many items and they result just like many stupid line and copycat fashion designers =)))))

This recommendation is too specific. I was rearranging my closet the other day and I found my old Lagerfeld tie. I held it for a second and put it back. I’m not into fashion at all actually, i just stumbled upon it in a store many years ago and bought it. I didn’t speak the word Lagerfeld, didn’t type his name in any search bar before this message, only thought about the man, and here he is on top of my recommended.🤔🤨
