  • Hi again and welcome to my inline skate sizing video. Today I am presenting my skate sizing for the Rollerblade Twister Edge inline skates. (Please note, I am not an expert skater sizer nor do I claim to be) It's my hope that my video will assist you in sizing your skates when you purchase your skates online.

Hey, some advice that may help you…. When you break in your liners fully or even use the fat boys, which were a game changer for me, you may find that the shells are actually more roomy than you want. Then put a big fat memory foam orthotic footbed from aliexpress, the yellow sports ones. Those absorb all the ground vibrations & really lock your foot in place. I also sized up on my rollerblades & am glad I did & was able to make them really padded & comfortable to wear all day.

275mm with 9.5 42.5 twister skates. They are true to size if you have small feet. If you have wide feet you probably want to avoide the skate or upsize.

Hi Arr0w: yup I'm a size 9 US mens shoes and use the Twister mens US 11. I had the Twister 10.5 at first - my toes were jammed horribly up against the end of the toe box. A size up to 11 made all the difference. Cheers!

I have foot 280mm long foot and I have Twister edge 10 US size = 43 EU and I think it is a bit too big size for me. I think I should have bought 9,5 US = 42,5 EU size. For better control it is best to have smaller sizing (of course without pain, just a feeling that you feel the rollerblades around your feet) , but for more relaxed feel it's better to have bigger size, but you loose control. When I was trying Twister sizes in the shop two years ago I felt 9,5 size was a bit too small for me - I felt the pressure on my fingers too much, but at that time I did not push the heel deep into the back of the shoe. Probably if I have done that the smaller size would fit perfectly and I would not feel the finger pressure. Year after I bought Twisters I bought Oxelo MF500 in the shop and I wanted to buy 43EU size and it was too big, then I tried 42 and pushed my heel deep into the back of the skate and it was a perfect fit. Buying skates is a little bit tricky, so after you buy them in the shop you must first try them in the house and if something is not OK, you can still swap them for other sizes in the shop.

Yes - having the heal locked in is important. I have RB 80 cruiser boots arriving tomorrow. I ordered size 8 US. Going to put my Twister frames on the new boots. I'll let you know - how it goes.
