Hi Joe: apologies for the late reply: what US mens size are you - also measure both feet. If you're in the US: I'd say yes - according to Rollerblade's sizing chart for the Twister Edge. Make sure it's the 2022 model. Measured foot size CM 25.6 - 26.5 Suggested size CM: 26.0/26.5 Suggested Size: US: 8/8.5 Suggested EU: 40.5/41

SaccoBelmonte: Yeah, I run Twister Edge 2022 model which they (Rollerblade) enhanced the sizing.

Hi I actually had the 10.5 on the old boots and my toes were jammed up into the front - a lot of pain. The 5mm made the difference. The new 2022 boots are awesome. I use the size insole on my right foot and no size insole on my left foot. It's working out great.🤙

@@chaindriven61 so you went from a size 11 edge to a 9-9.5 in xt? That's a crazy down size for such a subtle difference made to the liners. Did you try to break the liners in on the 10.5?

@@kenmastersmaster Yes, I could tell right away that the shells were to short. With the new 2022 shells the design changed and how Rollerblade did that I'll never know - only that they work for my size mondo. I have 11.5 hours on the new liners and they fit perfect. No pain, the toe box if fine. I hope this helps.🤙

Hi Janudrzal281: yes , Edge to SEBA in my own opinion. QUITE Close but keep in mind. SEBA has no liner - SEBA in my video has an intergraded built in liner. I wear a 9 in SEBA and a 9 In TWISTER. The Twister you can always replace the liner if it's too small. I believe the shell should handle it... The Twisters 2022 have the sizing insole that will take you up to 9.5. US Mens with the 2022 shell. Apples and Oranges: Yes, the TWISTER EDGES will be more bulky. I weighed both of them. The EDGES were 3 ounces heavier then my SEBA Hight Lights. Were talking ONCES. The Twisters just feel bulkier however they are so comfortable. I can skate in the Twister Edges for hours and my feet don't hurt. SEBA High Lights feel lighter then the Twister Edges but I feel that's just the design - again we are talking ounces,. SEBA's are a Freestyle boot (like artistic) and any slight movement you make - they respond instantly. They are how I describe as FINESS - GENTLE they respond to your feet inputs very fast. I hope that makes sense. Twister Edges vs SEBA High Light's - in my opinion the comparison "Apples and Oranges" I see Wizard skaters doing incredible things in their skates that are bulky. Because there is this difference of ounces. I may use ankle weights for a while while skating in the Edges to get use to the weight. What I'm going to do next is: order a SEBA High Light 8.5 Boot and try that. SEBA's in my opinion run big and maybe - just maybe the 8.5 SEBA will work. Here's why - My Mondo's. Left Foot: 26.5 mm Right Foot 27.5 mm Once I raise enough money I'll order just the boots. I hope this helps. Let me know. Greg 🤙

Hi Potato Troll: I had to go one size up to a mens US 9 because they were just too short in the length of the boot - my toes where cramped. After I went to a size 9 US Mens - they started digging into to my inner-right ankle bone. There is a fix that they do the ski boots called a heat punch and it bulges out the trouble area. Measure both of your feet for both Mondo size lengths. My mondo: My right foot is: 27.5 (275)mm Left foot is: 26.5 (265)mm and I actually am a size 8.5 US Mens. My left foot fits fine - even the width. >>> I would recommend upgrading to the 2022 Rollerblade Twister Edges - with a new sizing system. Pretty much true to size and how they created it is pretty sweet. The Edges are so comfortable - I have to say in my own opinion. You may want to spend a little more and get the boots. Check Thuro Skate shop - I know they sell the boots only and that's where I purchased mine. You may be a 9/9.5 US mens in the new twister 2022 Edges. @@chaindriven61 I already saw your other video. One thing that I found interesting on the Cruiser is that they have ventilation holes, don't you miss that on the Twister Edge? I'm from eastern Europe, so I can't check that shop.

Hi Peter: From what I can tell you in my own experience is - Yes there is a difference before the 2022 models. I'm not sure how Rollerblade configured the new 2022 models. The liners - I-feel are better in the 2022 models. When I got the boots 2022's I put them on - on CARPET - laced them up like I was going to skate and stood in them for 15 - 20 minutes. Walking around and tried to emulate skating. They were tight but my toes were NOT jammed up against the end of the front toe box like the 2018s were. It's incredible how they were tight. In my opinion. I"ve been on them for 4 hours now. No problems at all. I originally received the 2018 Rollerblade Twister Edges in size 10.5 mens US and yes - those were too small in the toe box. My toes were jamming up against the front of the boot. I had to go up to a size Mens US 11 and those were good. Just those I think was 5 millimeters made a big difference and I skated in them fine. They worked great but too big and bulky. With the 2022 they are true to size for me in my opinion. Yes - in my opinion the boot did change. What are both of your mondos? Measure both left and right foot. For the 2022 model of Twister Edge: The sizing chart shows your Mondo (measured size in CM 28.6-29.5 Suggested size: 290.0/29.5 US Mens 11/11.5. With that one of your feet may or may not use the sizing spacer. On my 2022 I only use the size spacer up to my 9.5 US on my right foot. I don't have to use it on my left skate (foot) Go do Rollerblade and print out they're sizing chart for the 2022 Twister Edges. www.rollerblade.com/usa/en/mens/performance-skates/freeskate/twister-xt Measure both of your Mondos. ​@@chaindriven61 Hi, thx for your answer. Hard to post comment here for whatever reason, so another attempt.... My Mondo is 288&290 and suggested sizing from RB seams fine. Older model which I bought is 30 as suggested, and so far it looks ok. I am only afraid if it will not become too roomy after some time. What was your experience after you skate in them after 20-30h? Was fit still ok? I would solve it with some bigger insole or some spacer I guess. And maybe in future I will get newer model, with smaller shell (29) as probably lighter, and tighter fit ... Yes, I see what you mean about the sizing for the 2022 according to the size chart. You're pretty much in-between on your 288 mondo. but 2mm hmm gotta wonder. Everyone is different and 2mm could be good or not good. I hope you do get the 2022 later on. You'll really enjoy them.

Hi Nuno: my advice don't get them: go with the Rollerblade Twister Edge 2022 model upgraded fit design. Since this video they are digging into right foot inner ankle bone and beginning to chafe my skin. I tried hot booting to make the plastic bubble around that hot area. There is not enough plastic to do this.(they do this method to snow ski boots for - hot points.) I have since purchased the Twister Edges 2022. Id say true to size. The same issue happened to my friend with the Cruisers - same area. Get the Twister Edges - spend the extra dough brother. Im telling-ya. Make sure 2022 models. Check Thuro Skate shop.

Hi David: Great! I checked the size chart and looks like you're right in-between: 7.0 25.0 39 7.5 25.5 40 that extra 5mm can make a difference unless you like a snug fit. I know they run a little big but not much. Keep me posted. 🤙

Also: from what I just measured on my printout, your width is about 1cm (3/8") of an inch wider then my width. @@chaindriven61 Thanks heaps for the information. Really helpful. You're actually only one width narrower than me so it's good to know the Sebas allow for wide feet. I actually have a pair of RB Cruisers in US11/44.5 which have been professionally widened across the shell. Width is ok now but toes are floating and it's going to be really fiddly adding support under the toes with a hard shell. Fitness skates are good for soft uppers but 99% of them aren't interchangeable 165mm frames. I'd always thought freestyle slalom skates would be too narrow no matter the brand, but it seems like Seba could be the go. I managed to find an AliX seller who is selling the original Seba High boot only. That way I can try a bunch of different liners (I bought Myfit Chris Farmer and SPC liners to try with the RB) and then lace the toes to suit. We'll see how it goes!

@@Lex_FX oh cool! that's good to know. Yes, the Seba High Light and RB Cruisers are pretty true to size. In my own opinion. I had the Seba 10 US but too big. I'm sure if you get your original size you'll stretch them out..they do run a little big.🤙

Jr. Measure your sneaker insole length, You're right in between - it looks like. 40-41. For me the size 9 US 42 EU once I switched have worked out. Keep in mind your feet will swell once you warm up and for me I start working the laces, loosening after about a 1/2 hour..If I tighten them too tight at the beginning they make my feet hurt. I would say for ME, they run true size on the bigger side of a size 9 Mens US. But it works.

Hi Jessica: are you a women's 9? I ask because I have since sold this setup in the video to my friend at the rink. He actually outskated his skates in record time and broke his stock frames that were Rollerblades for cardio. I have since ordered the Cruiser size 9 (which fit perfectly) I honestly feel for the money are a great value. If you notice in the video - those are Rollerblade Edge Frames not stock Cruiser frames. It's a terrific setup - what's shown. I noticed a quick liner break-in. >>you're right the 8's for me were tight and the center of my weight distribution was off - they worked but I'm a size 9 mens us and you will probably be right on the money with the size 9 women's - please keep us posted. I have brand new Fatboy liners that have sat because the Rollerblade liners are just great stock! Cheers!

Florian apologies for the late reply. I have since switched to the Rollerblade Twister Edge 2022 model because they offer the new sizing redesign. they are pretty much true to size. I'm a 9.5 Mens US and my mondo is 275mm on the right foot and my left foot is 265. When I received them I put them on with my skate socks that I'll be wearing and stood in them for 15 minutes on carpet. They were tight but not painful. I hear they take about 15-30 hours of break in. The liners feel great! I'll make another video. Greg

Victor: how long did you skate in them? I ask you because my feet hurt the first time skating on the RB's they hurt up until the liners broke in a while later and then they stopped hurting. I believe the RB Pros have an upgraded liner. Have you tried: 1/If you are wearing thick socks - try thinner socks. 2/Do you experience the same pain in the same areas skating on them another time? 3. High arch: have a look at this video. We are both beginner. Yeah but like you said maybe should break in first. Hi Arr0w: yup I'm a size 9 US mens shoes and use the Twister mens US 11. I had the Twister 10.5 at first - my toes were jammed horribly up against the end of the toe box. A size up to 11 made all the difference. Cheers!

Yes - having the heal locked in is important. I have RB 80 cruiser boots arriving tomorrow. I ordered size 8 US. Going to put my Twister frames on the new boots. I'll let you know - how it goes.

Hi Ozen: First, Yes, This boot is awesome. They run big. I could probably go 8.5 US mens but 9 are good. I wear a ankle bootie sleeve 2mm thick on my right foot because I have skinny ankles. The boots run big. Looks like you're in between at 270mm mondo. "As a suggestion" You may want to consider 8.5 - reason: my left mondo is 265 and my right mondo is 275. You are right in between. If you are in the LA (Los Angeles) area I have had some work powder coating done and they did a fantastic job for the price.
