I made 40ltrs of this a day before my wedding to be used for the dishes and service cleaning. It was enough until the neighbors even took some.

Once I add the first four litres of water, I just let it sit overnight. By morning everything is dissolved and saves me the stirring energy and time.

@@huldahh I put all the ingredients in a bucket except color and perfume then add four litres of water and let it sit overnight.
And I did it. I went to OTC, asked the guard at Tusky's and was directed accordingly. The shop attendants are very helpful I must say. I was guided and managed to make green 10 ltrs of soap following your directions of course. Great Job Sue's Homestead. Now I commence using it and I shall update you on my experience. Planning to use it for kitchen, home and 'laundry' as you have stated it can hack it! Cheers!

Just came across your channel a week a go and have watched 60% of your videos. Am a stay at home mom and this comes in handy for me. My house used to be clean but messy coz I have 3 toddlers, using the fly lady system my house looks more organised. Am so grateful Suzy my work has been made easier.. Oh! and before I forget, today I made liquid detergent. You should have seen how I danced around the house. That was a great milestone for me, no more buying of detergents. Tomorrow am trying the fabric softener. Can't wait am so excited. 😉😀😀

Can the soap be used in a washing machine?
Oh, I've seen that you wouldn't recommend. Have you gotten one for the washer?
I would not advise you to use it in a washing machine. I have not yet gotten homemade detergent for the washing machine.
Thank you so much for this money saving tip. I have now made my second batch of soap. And I noticed making my own is better because it's thicker and hence I use very little. I shared with my mum and sister and showed them how to make it.
I have also made the fabric softener. Do you use it in the washing machine or its just for hand wash

For a high efficiency washer (which most of them are nowadays), this will not work because it has too much foam.
