@@ardi1606 Yeah, nice piece of information but it didn't have much to do with the thing i said. Its defenitely nor right wing and i really hope you don't think he can play as an attacking midfielder in 433...
@@Jordy4610 It has anything to do with your statement, if you read them carefully. You said "Messi actually play as striker", which is not true. Messi never sit in opposite defensive line which is the role of a striker, he's always involved in the link up plays, infact he's the main playmaker. Also SS and ST are completely different. RW is his preffered position. Although they put him as right wing he would still have his free role. Never once in the entire tournament Messi played as striker.
@@ardi1606 im not talking about a deep striker, like a number nine. When using the term striker, it just means any type of striker in general. So either a penalty box striker (like Haaland), a second striker, a centre forward, a false nine. All are forms of roles on how to fill in that striker position. You are consufing roles, with position. In 433, there is only one striker position. So wether you are a deep striker, a centreforwards, a second striker or a false 9... all should be put at striker when making a team in 433.....
@@deeznoots6241 tbh I really don't know how we should rated GKs. GKs also have some (Maybe even more depending on the CBs.) responsibility in controlling the defensive lines and if everything work well, they wouldn't face any shots.. and then, they wouldn't be rated higher for that? I'm a bit confused.
I know this is recorded before the final and picking players from all teams is customary when doing the team of the tournament, but, since there are so many different opinions and disagreements over such choices, I think it's safe to say that realistically the team of the tournament is always the team made of the players who played best and most from the squad that wins the said tournament, with the substitutes being the similar players of the squad that finished second, i.e. Argentina's first eleven (subs: France's first eleven). However... when it comes to the coach of the tournament, since the favorites usually finish high because of their players, he has to be the one managing the outsider squad that had the best performance compared to the expectations, i.e. Morocco's coach (asistant coach: either Croatia's coach for repeating a top 4 finish or Japan's coach for eliminating two of the favorites). What they did here (and what FIFA will do as well later on) would be better called "individual performances of the tournament". A "team" chosen like that would have little chemistry anyway.
So just to be clear Spencer wanted two players from the quarter finalists England (Maguire and bellingham). A team who beat mighty Iran, Wales and Senegal. And only one from argentina, a team who has beaten minnows like Netherlands and Croatia. No wonder the rest of the world always supports teams other than England even when they are premier league supporting fans.
Livakovic is a good choice but for me Bounou of Morocco has to be there they had no business making it to the semi finals and they wouldn’t have done it without him.

this team is sooo perfect, just as i would have done mine. Only thing which is absolutely stupid (my point of view)-Guerrio? My god hernandez was sooo good, i dont know how you can come with guerrio, crazy. And myself i find otamendi was a bitt better than silva because of the longer tournament, and otamendi is really underrated(dont know how they didnt say a thing about him)
GK : Livakovic
RB : Hakimi
CB : Saïss
CB : Gvardiol
LB : Theo H
CM : Amrabat
CM : Honestly multiple possible picks here (Ounahi, Tchouameni, Modric, Casemiro, Bellingham, Enzo)
CAM : Griezmann
RW : Bruno
LW : Mbappe
ST : Messi (since striker is where he actually plays..)
There is literally nothing debateble here.
It's actually one of the most clear team of the tournaments ever.
Maybe a French centreback tbf... that's it.
Messi was SS and AMF behind Martinez/Lautaro, sometimes moving to RW throughout the World Cup. He was never a ST in this tournament.
@@ardi1606
When in posession he dropped back a bit to get involved in the build up and creation part of the game. But in defense, the other attackers did all the work, and he took a striker position. A SS is also a striker btw, just a different type of striker. It literally means second striker.
@@ardi1606
Yeah, nice piece of information but it didn't have much to do with the thing i said. Everyone put Messi at right winger, i decided to put him striker since that's the position most similar to what he played. Team like this are usually done in a 433, so there is not second striker, only 1... that's why i put Messi there. Where else would you put Messi in a 4-3-3?
How did Guerrero keep Cancelo out the team? He literally replaced the injured Mendes. Dalot kept cancelo out
He literally said ‘along with dalot’
Cancelo was pretty tame the whole world cup
@@sheikjanneh2010 Nah he wasnt bro got sent by Baba Rahman
@@archiewall124 My point is Guerrero did not keep him out. Cancelo was dropped for Dalot
Shocking that the Morocco keeper is not in there. Only conceded 1 goal before the Semis and is one of the top 3 keepers in La Liga
Faced way less shots than Livakovic or Sczesny, Bono was a great keeper but the Moroccan defence did most of the work for him
I hear you but what about his goalkeeping heroics against Spain saving all 3 pens and the worldy he pulled off from Felixs shot
My team:
GK: Livakovic
RB: Josep Juranovic
CB: Konate
CB: Otamendi
LB: Theo Hernandez
CM: Ounahi
CDM: Amrobat
CM: Enzo Fernández
LW: Kylian Mbappe
ST: Oliver Giroud
RW: Messi
Everyone forgetting the tournament that Cody Gakpo had
Team of the tournament is undoubtedly Morocco
Team of the tournament is the team that actually wins the tournament you donut.
@@MrDingDongPong hahaha I think he's just playing with words, definitely the surprise of the tournament
Livakovic, Hakimi, Romero, Gvardiol, Hernandez, Amrabrat, Bellingham, Fernandez, Messi, Mbappe and Griezmann.
Alvarez-Mbappe-Messi
Bellingham-Enzo-Modric
Hernandez-Gvardiol-Saiss-Hakimi
Livakovic
Romain Saiss criminally overlooked
After the final... giroud, bellingham, silva shouldn't be there. Better players for those positions.
I like how they did not mention tchouameni in the team or even young player of the tournament as he had to fill the left by kante and pogba
Just 1 Argentine player? Are u kidding me? Where is enzo and ottamendi?
MAGUIRE?!?
👋
GK: Martinez 🇦🇷
LB: Théo Hernandez 🇨🇵
CB: Gvardiol 🇭🇷
CB: Otamendi 🇦🇷
RB: Hakimi 🇦🇱
CM: Amrabat 🇦🇱
CM: Ounahi 🇦🇱
CAM: Griezman🇨🇵

RW: Messi 🇦🇷
ST: Alvarez 🇦🇷
Manager: Walid Regragui 🇦🇱
(This XI wayy better, why did they pick so many players who didn't even make semi's? 😤)
Perisic instead of Theo H and Saiss instead of Otamendi and you're good to go 👍
as soon as you see rory is there, you know you’re in for a video of the worst ball knowledge imaginable.
The guy isn't even funny anymore
Explain?
@@charlieoocharlie9466 he’s the one who said haaland would flop and he’d be lucky to score 10 goals
So true
The criticism on maguire vs senegal is atrocious
Endo and Yoshida deserves a shout
Respect Rory for including Behich!!
Amrabat is THE player of the tournament. Only right that he's in there.
i really thought Coady Gakpo had a real shout to be in the team, but not even a mention wth
me too
U gotta be kidding... Argentina won the World Cup and there is only one argentine player in your team?
BRUNO BRUNO BRUNO 🇵🇹
Cry 😂
Dissapointing that Di Maria didn't get a shout out. He was the key player for Argentina to win the World Cup.
Haha, not even mentioned Modric! What a sick human beings 😂
Mohammed Kudus🥺🥺🥺
So just to be clear Spencer wanted two players from the quarter finalists England (Maguire and bellingham). A team who beat mighty Iran, Wales and Senegal. And only one from argentina, a team who has beaten minnows like Netherlands and Croatia. No wonder the rest of the world always supports teams other than England even when they are premier league supporting fans.
Saiss from Morocco over thiago silva, modric over jude
Livakovic is a good choice but for me Bounou of Morocco has to be there they had no business making it to the semi finals and they wouldn’t have done it without him.
This should be done after the final
Livaković replace to Bounou✅️💯
No way near szy itself
Maguire was next to Giroud for 7 secs before the headed goal.. He stood there shouting at other players, and at no point marked Giroud.. The only aerial threat as the cross comes in.. That's his basic job.. In the big moment, he didn't even switch on.
“He plays for chelsea……
He used to play for chelsea as well….”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😭😭💀💀maahnnn that got me cracking
livakovic; hakimi, gvardiol, otamendi, hernandez; amrabat, enzo, griezmann; mbappe, messi, alvarez
Watching this makes you feel satisfied rather than sad that england lost like they did.
de poul is on another level
Modric needs to be in there 💯
THIS IS HORRENDOUS 😭😭😭
my world cup best team of the tournament
GK - livakovic
DEFENSE - theo, gvardiol, otamendi, hakimi
MIDFIELD - tchouameni, ounahi, griezmann
ATTACK - mbappe, giroud, messi
Konate has been the best CB in the tournament and didn't even get a mention.
Not played enough
Spencer lost this debate whenever he argued for Maguire.
Álvarez is clear of Giroud.
Maguire is so bad that average performances make it seem like he’s just had a world class game
“Hakimi not as good as Reece James”…. Cmon guys.. the British bias is too real here
And Maguire has made it into this best centre backs of the World Cup … far out
Straight off the bat these two guys putting random keepers instead of Bonou is an absolute disgrace
Blonde guy's ball knowledge is shocking.
No one there is blonde….💀
Spencer. The realist. Rory.... Well
