If you buy an old call of duty game, its to relive old experience's, plus most people have already bought the game on one console or another, so with that being said if you switch consoles the game should be free.

Made the mistake of buying BO2 on steam instead of getting it the right way plutonium is free and a good way to play those old games
One of them you have to own the base game to play the clients
You can no longer get bo2 free from plutonium because they took down the files. But i guess there are some pirated versions out there that work.

The problem with digital copies these days ... it's sickening & at any time they can yank it from the platform & you get no money back
steam is not the problem the publisher is, there are really good old game and they are hella cheap in steam during sale it's just Activision is really a shit publisher
and you cant even play the mp for a lot of these cods or you risk getting hacked and get your pc bricked up, and then activision has the balls to cease and desist other clients who allow people to play the games safely, truly the worst company ever but people still gobble up their shit even tho they havent released a good game in years and also the fact that mw3 has literally zero new content, every single thing in that game is recycled and yet cost 90$
Cod doesnt lower their prices, they have always been like that it isnt steam. The prices are just as bad on PSN or Xbox
They would change the prices if enough people are outraged
