    So I was looking at this today, and the options looked just as good if not better than the S10 which is another $1k more. Can you program ECMs/TCMs along with crank sensor relearn?

      @BeardedFordTech do you think it's as good if not better than the S10? I think the biggest difference is the s8 pro can't do heavy diesel which kinda sucks but I'd be using it to program modules and relearns the most.

    Looks like a nice scan tool. How much are the software updates and how does it compare to your Matco scanner?

      @BeardedFordTech  Рік тому +4

      Works the same as the match. Basicslly the same android operating system. I think on this one you can do monthly. 6 month or yearly subscription for the software to be able to program modules. Other than that you can read codes and monitor live data

    Does the scan tool have all of the FORD IDS features?

      @BeardedFordTech  Рік тому +2

      Yes. That was what I clicked on under ford. You have to pay for the subscription to program modules though

      Yep. I found the launch tool. I have the ford one. But they make them.for.other makes. Just connect to internet and set it up. It's absolutely free. No subscription required at all. Free updates too. Here's a link. So depending on what kind of vehicle you have purchase it for that one. You can do everything dealerships do.

      No I dropped the dongle. It is bi directional. If you are connected to the internet and have the software subscription for the make of the vehicle. I just used it on a ford f450 to program a bcm
