This is exactly what I wanted from a Spider-Man series: If creators want to write about a single Spider-Man, instead of mucking with the present, just make your stories take place in the past. Everything in this story just works...except the art. How on Earth does Greg Land keep finding work?!
Im sorry but I don't understand this logic There's only so much about the past u can write about B4 running into the same problems Dragonball Super has. Trampling on what's already been established and contradicting things.
You know, my interest in comics and heroes first piqued when watching movies, and I’ve always intended to try to read the comics and learn more. In a busy life with little free time to enjoy the reading of these, you have allowed me to immerse myself in these stories and you beautifully depict the scenes thank you guys for all the hard work!!!
I hope one day Marvel makes a comic, cartoon or live action TV show in an alternate universe where Spider-Man only wears the symbiote suit since the beginning without any side effects, there's so much potential that they can pull off something cool that we've never seen before.
The side effects are one of the things that make the suit interesting. Otherwise you just want a show with a black suit? It's the violence and cavalier attitude that would make for interesting storylines. What we need is a peter that never got rid of the suit and embraced the violence
@@_SWFB yeah and in Back In Black it was the cloth version, the symbiote never made Spidey more irritated, although it showed that it always made him sleepy because unknown to Peter, the symbiote was using his body, pretty iconic
I'm honestly hoping that the MCU gives Tom the Black suit at the end of his next movie, that way he can start the next movie having been wearing the black suit for a couple of weeks, maybe even month.
With the next film taking place after daredevil I think it’s safe to say Spider-Man 4 will have kingpin as the main villain so seeing Tom get the symbiote during all that would be perfect, especially with black cat involved

I liked this story line because it had a gaurdians of the galaxy type vibe to it. I also liked the characters in this with Kang the conqueror cosmo and rocket the racoon teaming up with Spiderman and the watcher to defeat Kang the conqueror awesome.

"Ultimate power never ends well", huh? I don't think the writer approved of working with Greg Land either. "Ultimate Power" just so happens to be an infamous comic that Greg Land did the art for. One infamous fact from it is that Nick Fury in the Ultimate Universe apparently builds Helicarriers with a secret room which is a recreation of the bridge of the Starship Enterprise, under command of Picard. Because Greg Land traced for freaking backgrounds, and literally traced Star Trek.
There is one that you missed it's called alien identity but so far I love it I've got three of the issues I need to find that one king is black and add it to my collection
I was enjoying the story until Mysterio, gaining some symbiote, is magically more powerful than Spidey and with more mastery of the symbiote despite only having it for like a couple hours max. I hate it when writing gets lazy like that. It's honestly probably why I don't like most comic books anymore. They always pull some kind of stupid crap like that.
It's so cute seeing Kang and Peter interact. It's like, for Peter, he's just having a weirdly chill interaction with a supervillain. For Kang, he's finally getting to meet and hang out with a longtime family friend.
That Audre bit with the Gas Mask ‘gift’ in a box followed by the poison gas…. I am wondering how far back this issue came cause THAT was a move used by *Jack Nicholson* when he played the Joker in the FIRST Batman movie! The writer might have stole a DC movie idea- or if this came before the movie, it’s the other way around…
The story of this game is fucking hilarious. I always thought it's super funny some people treat it as a super serious drama. This game is just perfection.

I really hope the massive twist of Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 is that Peter doesn't act like a xenophobic dickhead, he and the symbiote/Venom work things out, and stay together in a fully symbiotic relationship like what usually happens with Eddie Brock.
Volume 1 of Symbiote Spider-Man was the best. I prefer a grounded story, taking place in New York, and focusing on Spidey’s local rogues gallery. Spider-Man feels a little out of place when dealing with extra dimensional travel and outer space adventures. The most compelling feature of the black suit saga is Peters gradual descent into villainy as the symbiote takes over. That aspect of the narrative gets lost in translation when Peter is fighting alongside a T-Rex in an alternate dimension.
