      Looking at all Ansel Adams' work, I've always wanted to shoot Yosemite. I remember you shot some of it I think last year. Seems like such a beautiful place man.

    My hometown!! A lady named Nancy used to operate that Honolulu Club. The back of the bar was her house. She recently moved after her mom passed away but sold the bar to her neighbor who wants to eventually bring the bar back to life!

      Oh awesome!! Thanks so much for leaving this comment! I hope the bar comes back!

    Route 66 is really diverse and so many great buildings to photograph just off the side of the road. 3:14 that shot looks so cool with the blue building in the foreground and the orange mountains I the back. I also like the before sunrise shot at 4:22.

    Thank you for you video. I’m a native from Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. Love your photos of The Honolulu Club. I seen this couple years ago and have it on our bucket list now that we live in Las Vegas, NV. Awesome photos of this monument. Aloha!

    Another magic video man, loved the part about previzin' the Honolulu Club - well done for achieving that shot after so long. Such a good feeling to nail something you've been thinking of for so long. Those night shots on Ekatr though, holy moly love that church man. The Pro400H can't hold a candle to the Ektar. Loved this one and also can't believe how damn long route 66 is!

    7:44 This is the better image of the church. The other one(s) lacked clarity of composition in my mind, this one is clean and organized, especially with the edge of the road and that rubble forming a line leading up to the church. Very nice image.
    11:14 I got the 40mm f4 Nikon for the S2A, if you find a clean copy of one, grab it. It's worth it. Not just for moments like this.

    • @ReimannPembroke
      @ReimannPembroke  Рік тому

      Thanks for watching! I’ve heard the 40mm is great! I’m thinking about getting the 200mm lens for the Bronica as I find myself needing a short telephoto when shooting medium format

    • @weisserth
      @weisserth Рік тому

      @@ReimannPembroke I got the Nikkor-P.C 200mm f4, I find it sharp. I stayed away from the shorter tele lenses as many claim those are not sharp. I see no issues with my 200mm. Be aware though, the minimum focus distance is a whopping 3 meters (>10 feet), so if you're hoping for some close up shots with magnification, that ain't gonna happen.
