    The photo on the 64-D of the snow filled teal swimming pool is my favourite. That teal colour is amazing with the crosses.

    It’s so good to see a chill photography video in Japan. Everyone always seems overly excited!
    I’m heading over there in July and this has given me another reason to step out at night!

      Hey thanks! Haha yeah I think my baseline demeanour is fairly calm 😅, I know what you mean though. Hope you have a good one! July is hot, but that should make night-shooting ideal. Sometimes it was too cold, to where I couldn't stay out as long as I would like.

    That Fuji Eterna 250T is just amazing, same with the F64D. Velvia was crushing it hard there too (prob my favorite film stock of all time). Sucks how Fuji just killed it so hard in the film game and now is very scarce. Great shots as always Hashem! Thanks for the filter side-by-side tests on film! Sorry to say that the mist filter did no good on the Velvia imo. But on the digital I really liked it. Thanks!

    Japan in der Nacht ist eine tolle Spielwiese für Fotografen die Wissen was sie tun. Deine Bilder sind klasse und deine Erklärungen machen den Unterschied zu einigen anderen Videos mit den gleichen Inhalten. Die Ergebnisse sprechen echt für sich.

    Really enjoy your videos. I think you might like trying out large format for some of these scenarios -- definitely an even slower process than what's shown above, but that convenience store at night, shot on large format ...

    Nice one, Hashem. So much visual goodness packed into one vid. I'm curious to know and see how you do the voiceovers for your videos, it was a thought that crossed my mind as I watched. I thought the script of it felt more crafted than previous videos, interested to know if this was the case. Also, enjoying the music choices, and the continued up in quality for b-roll and generally more cinematic shots since getting the new canon. They aren't wasted on me, ha, I appreciate them a lot. The video made me yearn to be back in Japan too, it really is a photographers dream for street, hey. Great job on the edit, so keen on the up north Vietnam vid now after seeing this one 😊

    • @pushingfilm
      @pushingfilm  8 місяців тому

      Thanks Ben! I usually improvise them in as I go with the edit. But sometimes I type out a script first, or just certain talking points. With this and other videos it's a bit of a mixture! I'm glad you notice the difference... I was really pushing the capability of the R6 with how dark some of these scenes were for video, but it held up well! I'm partway into the North Vietnam edit... this one will be a bit different yet again 🙂

    Loved the video Hashem! I really need to get to Japan. I'm also a huge fan of F64D (probably my favourite stock).
    That said I've never heard of it referred to as as an Eterna stock, I thought the only daylight balanced Eterna was 250D and Eterna Vivid 250D

    • @pushingfilm
      @pushingfilm  8 місяців тому

      Thanks! Yes, I was just mistakenly calling it Eterna in a few parts of the video! I remember later on that its just F64D

    also, where is you shutter release cable from? Love the braided cable.

    • @pushingfilm
      @pushingfilm  8 місяців тому

      I think I bought it during a previous Japan trip, from Bic or Yodobashi. I have a couple of similar ones though, they're quite a common old-school type of cable. I prefer the braided style over the rubber/plastic ones.
