As a retired stage rigger, I think it should be emphasized that these ideas are for decorative use and should NEVER be used in a "life safety critical" situation or where something might fall on someone. Drilling a bolt seriously weakens it and welding on it would further weaken its temper and strength. Welds on equipment that must be safe should be xrayed or magna-fluxed to check the bond of the weld, or load tested to at least 5 times the expected loadFor side ways loads, only forged eyebolts should be used with flange bases.
Agreed! These are super creative ideas. Should come with some sort of disclaimer, though. Relying on something like that trellis system to support any amount of load or force could cause serious injury or worse.
i know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
First two. Pointless. Why not loop through an eyelet if you have crimps then just tight eyelet down. Going away it will tighten and going down the wall it will wrap and tighten. Just drill a hole then put wire through the bolt, tighten bolt. Can even drill it through close to the head and tighten down with a nut. Doesn't even need a hole drilled Pull tight, tighten nut then really tighten by screwing in the bolt. I would place a washer next to the bolt head. Loads of quicker better, easier ways, with none of the tools. nut crimp; it's ok but why not just splice the small easy stuff. If you saw this video you can watch one on splicing. Not sure what the last one even served a purpose for besides looks. This video shows you how to achieve something using more material, more tools, more time, and more effort to achieve one common goal. Good ideas in general just not good ways of doing them
Да не мучайте вы тросик! Заплетите, сделайте красивую, прочную и главное быстро, петлю и цепляйте куда хочется. Нет, если хочется посверлить .... Чужое хочу, я уважаю. Спасибо.
These are really bad ways to terminate wire rope. None of them would pass any form of industrial inspection, and - as JP says - none of them should be trusted to hold any kind of load. It went wrong when he started to weld threaded rod to a nut, and just became nastier from there.

Pretty sure that is a given, although if you don't know welding you may not realise the welds are ... average, at best.
Good comment. I do not trust any untested trick such as this.
not sure what the cool idea's were but this guy is sure good at drilling a straight hole through a bolt.
😂😂😂yeaa
If I was counter drilling a bolt just held by the thread in the lathe it wouldn't be much more accurate!

@Marcel Sincere Instablaster =)
I really enjoyed the technique of jamming the rough cut frayed end through the small hole with camera cuts.
Absolutely you are right.before this video we don't know about your extraordinary knowledge.keep all in your mind.
Good 👍👍👍👍👍
Great technique
I think I know why no one’s seen these ideas before
And absolutely never want to see them again.
Thank!
These strike me as a good solution only if you have $45,000 worth of machining equipment, but not a $0.45 steel cable eyelet.
I'm at 4:19 and I just realised I've probably seen at least 1 idea fully realised, and I couldn't tell you what it was supposed to be
Good nice mr suny
I came for the bolts... i stayed for the beats.
Thanks
This should be labeled, "What me drill holes through bolts."
Nice video! Direct like 👍
i need steel cable for something. let me secure it to drywall.
....it's concrete.
I don’t think you should be doing anything with a drill!

Hallo Bro!
Great video
Great ideas . .
Thank you very much Sir
Super.... Good job 💐👏😂
Show us wire rope ideas without the power tool please. Thanks.
You're right, I hadn't seen these until now, but I'm certainly keeping them in-mind now! I'll use real crimpers, though...
Last one: just drill the hole smaller in that metal?!?
THIS IS A BOLT ?? MAKE A SPIN ?? 🤣👍🏻
Loved them. Especially #3
Keep them coming!
Top!

Harika ...
Amazing creativity. Superb 👍
Only if making those length wise holes this easy
You're wrong. IKEA had a product like this about 8-10 years ago. I have a couple of them in my house.
Very good 👍
All of this is easier using ferrules and turnbuckles.
Muy buenisimas ideas,gracias mil.
Nice
Looks great. Hope it hold high tension. :) thanks

What brands of drill bits are you using ?
Mitsubishi

GENIAL
dude, you're drilling into a ciment wall with an ordinairy spiral drill (that will be blunt after) in stead of a stone drill, poor example
Good 👍👍👌👌
Mega work

Go to all that effort using mild steel parts that will rust out near in the salt air instead of using 316 stainless steel.
Perfect 👍😍👌❤️💯🌹

круть!!!
아주좋아 정말좋아최고
Nice😀😀😀
crimping the end of the wire was the weakest part of the process. but as ideas go that was good
Некоторые идеи далеко сомнительны...
I had a feeling this was gonna be dumb and sketchy
Excellent congratulations
Muito obrigado
Thanks

Why so much work?
Easier to buy a talrem and a pair of cable clamps.
Cheaper and faster.
