They are both piezo pickups. One is under saddle, the other is soundboard mounted. Double sided tape is probably bad sounding compared to Krazy glue. They all sound better if you can use a proper acoustic IR.
technically yes, but they are still quiet different, and mixed they do sound a lot more natural than my newly bought Martin. I compared it in a video and a short video summary if you want to ear. I did try some IR in the past but wasn't really blown away and prefer to eq it to fit the song. I think if you have a good acoustic, adding an IR on it is like trying to force it into something else. I am not saying there isn't good one that do lift it up. But to me that didn't really did it. I can always record with a mic if I want a more natural acoustic sound. I am happy how it sounds now, for the money invested the result was worth it.
@@olivierjezequel with an ir you can make and record your own, for free. Obviously a generic one doesn't reflect your pickups and your guitar top, and your mic pattern etc. It's also free to sand the guitar and stick the pickup on with crazy glue which would be a much better coupling.
Salut ! Je pense que le piezo aurais un son plus naturel/moin aigu si tu le place plus bas ,c'est a dire dans la partie plus large de ta guitare.. et opposee de ou tu met ton bras pour jouer....🙂
@@STRUMMERBOY1975 Merci ! Quelqu'un m'a fait la meme remarque, J'ai essaye de le decoller mais ca a l'air bien accroche. J'ai pas voulu forcer. Je re-essayerai quand je changerai les cordes.
