I enjoy your channel so thank you for uploading. I have done research on K&N and yes they do flow better but also do not filter as well as a paper filter which means your cylinder wall and piston will wear qucker. I do not want to spoil your fun but you might want to look into it. Take care and ride safe brother.

@@Kickstandup Using a K&N might be worse than using a Coober air box lid with the stock air filter. K&N are notorious for reducing engine longevity. But it might be fine if you change your oil and clean out the filter at least 1000kms before the original interval.
Yeah there's a reason it's a **racing** air filter. It's meant for racing, on the track. And usually people overhaul their engine after a few race. Definitely not meant for normal everyday use.

bought it yesterday, first ride today: the duke (2021, euro 5) feels smoother when accelerating but the punch is gone. for me (yes i know it's only a single cylinder) the wildness is missing. i can't recommend it, mapping is definitely needed. No change in the sound.I absolutely cannot understand your WOW-experience...
Not too sure if you have an aftermarket exhaust. Because i have it and have been riding with it for awhile, once installed the k&n filter, it is noticeably punchier in the low revs. Better air flow in and out I guess. it is great to know what you are experiencing, thanks for the comment.

what's you're thoughts on the coober air lid replacement?
thought of it at first but decided not to get that because I'm afraid it might not filter as well as a proper air filter because the Coober lid only uses sponge sprayed with some oil. I may be wrong

@@Kickstandup Yes, the coober only replaces the lid, you still use a proper air filter with it. Hope this helps!
