Read his wiki, Nicholas Yarris. He fought a cop which led to their death, pretended to know the murderer of that woman to get a plea deal, and once authorities tracked the suspect down they found he was uninvolved and this guy became the suspect. This poor man is insane.
Ok so I read it. The part that isn’t clear is whether he fabricated the story entirely about knowing who committed the rape/murder in an effort to get early release or if he actually thought based on his own evidence and experiences that the person he accused was the person who committed the crime.
@@jrapp2684 he had no evidence or experience. The wiki page says he saw an article in a newspaper while in prison and pretended to know who did the murder. That person he said was responsible was uninvolved. It appears Nicholas had no proof or any involvement in the case, he simply saw an article in a newspaper.
So for starters he resisted arrest and then they charged him with kidnapping a police officer and attempted murder of a police officer, he read the paper and saw a story in there and decided to pin it on a guy for a plea deal that he thought was dead.
