I am so upset they only put 3 episodes out,i am craving more already this is just getting better each episode. Serinda Swan is so awesome in this movie.

They only put out three episodes because,…..fans like us would complain and cause a larger buzz about the show and maybe draw more people into watching it and ultimately subscribing to Amazon prime!……it’s about marketing and money. Your money becoming their money!……..such is life, but still a great show though.

I can't believe I gonna say this but I like Alan's Reacher than Tom's Reacher. It is so hard cause you can never say no in front of Tom's movie, with his performances but Alan's Reacher is really good on this TV series! Need more than just 2 seasons.....

Hey any real Reacher fans out there. Reachers real love interest was in the 2nd & 3rd book. Tripwire and The Visitor. He even started to settle down with her. Her name was Jodie. His former Commanding Officers daughter whom he knew from his service days long past. Reachers man enough to have short term love interests, like Dixon, but Jodie was the only one who won his heart.
ok, so it's none of these 2. That's fine, honestly! Tbh, not super digging either of these random love tangents. Especially this 2nd one. So far. Like, the history is not really built up between them, I think they assumed everyone already knows the backstory, but for people who didn't read the books, there's not much on screen. It's kinda random. They just repeat slogans to eachother so far. Like, it's supposed to have already HAD some intimacy there, but she just makes jokes about his ''big everything"... lol😅. I could understand that vibe if they HAD just met, and it is just a hookup, but it's oddly reductive and shallow in a context where they're supposed to have known eachother and been in love, secretly, for a long time.
I'd rather they pick a lane, basically. It's either a flink or it's serious. But they're trying to do ''serious flings", and ''intimate hookups", lol. It's like the frankenstein of romances, lol. It's a bit of everything, all jumbled together, and really hard to follow.
And his previous ''love interest" randomly punches him in the face! LOL! wth? 😂
No hate on the actors, I think they're definitely trying but some revelations for the audience prior to them hooking up would have been nice. Like, show us this great chemistry, don't just assume we know it's supposed to be there, lol. All I see is them repeating a handful of lines and passing files to eachother... why cares? Everyone does that. That's not ''intimacy". Fleshing out the script a bit would help a lot.
And it would be nice if just once they found a way to show ''female strength" without the females randomly punching the dudes they just slept with, in the face. It comes across super odd. It's jarring. Like, you flinch when you see it. "Wow, hey, what happened? When did we get to the random abuse part of this story already? And how did she *not* break her hand?! I'm so confused!!!"😭
There's just no lead up to it or warning of any kind. And nothing happens in between to justify that level of random escalation. No one does that in real life. All the romances are odd so far and I hope there's a semi-normal one which makes some kind of sense, at some point. Again, no hate on the actors, and otherwise the character is cool. Show is enjoyable for sure. I just wish they can maybe edited some of these odd takes more, and then it would had flowed better, I guess, and been a bit less jarring.
@@andrabook8758 as Reacher says, He was her commanding officer, Dixon, so even if there was a spark between them he would have never acted on it. That’s said in the book and on the screen too.
are there more scenes between them in the books tho? Or is it like in the series? Bc in the series they literaly exchange like 3 lines. Compared to season 1, this ''romance" is very much out of the blue. @@vickiy.forsyth6497
plus, like, he always seems like the girls need to remind him of key information, like, he's not her boss anymore, lol. Did he not know that? Like, it comes across a little like maybe he's just slow now. It made some sense in season 1 bc he was dealing with the death of his brother, but in this season it's a little odd, lol. And for the record, I think the military does allow workplace romances as long as they are properly reported and everything is out in the open. So, technically speaking, it would have been fine. Not saying they should do it, but it wouldn't have been against any regulations. Dixon points that out too. At most they would have swapped units for one of them, or something like that. AND they could have always hooked up after he left the army too...lots of options there. No need to wait 5 years or anything, lol.
THIS WHOLE CAST IS GREAT....I TYPICALLY WOULD NOT WATCH A SHOW LIKE THIS....BUT...IT DREW ME IN ....SO MANY WAYS

Really loving season 2 but damn!!!! These two women look fabulous in this interview tho shame on whoever edited this that they left out the most important character after Reached.
This show is absolutely awesome. Just like the books. So glad Crews is out of this

I read the books years ago and was disappointed when Tom Cruise played Reacher in two movies. I like Tom Cruise a lot but he just isn't Reacher. Alan Ritchson nailed it, I loved season one and season two is great so far. Great casting.
Personally I have not read the books so I did not know about the size difference but I did think Tom Cruse did a good job being Reacher so will not take that away .BUT now having seen Alan and watching the first season several times and now with second season well underway I agree Alan does play the part the best it would be interesting to see the Reacher movies again with Alan as Reacher would add so much more to it. Looking forward with anticipation for the rest of the series and future series
Not the only one in the franchise who he shared a long pining for, but I think they cut that because it would come off as creepy these days.

In ending of episode 2, Reacher says “they are coming after us” and pauses and says “good”. Instead of “good” if Reacher had said “I am waiting” it would added more punch 😅

Just watched the first 3 - thankfully it’s looking good unlike so many other series which after the first fail miserably, strong cast, good story and of course plenty of A- kicking ? Sad as mentioned apart from Alan clearly non of the cast here have read any of the books ? I thought research and DETAILS MATTER?
@hartgemini007 I think I saw Bill Nighy talking about his film roles and how he approaches them, and at one point, he said that the film and direction and action are just that, it's not the screenplay or teleplay, it's not the video game or book it's based on, it's just the film and work itself and that's how Bill always looked at books that were made to show or movie. I like that approach just as much as the obvious reading material there.

Seen al 3 episodes already and im excited for more! Only thing i will say that has been a massive down grade in my shoes is the fight scenes. I feel like it looks worse, looks more sketched out and not as smooth as season 1. Season 1 was more direct, this just seem more Choreographed and fake. One scene especially that was a turn off for me was the fight at the construction site after they left the Casino...it looks so bad. The way Jack Punches the cans on the fore cliff, the fighting scene that the chick had.....doesn't feel ''real'' to me. I feel that season 1 had more realness to them, looked more real even tho it's all fake. Correct me if i am wrong here, anyone else agree or disagree?
Amazon Prime once again bites the hand that feeds them and staggers the episodes in to January 2024 with the big news being that at the end of January 2024 you have to sit through ads when watching prime shows and movies. The second season is more hokey than the first, but still better than the couple of vanity-project movies that Tom Cruise made.

I was really hoping that they would do the seasons following the books. ie: Season 1 book 1, season 2 book 2 etc
Do you think any of these actors other than Alan Ritchson read the book? It does not sound so by their responses.
Amazon and Netflix's biggest roadblock is the change in yearly episodes for unknown reason. Its like reading 30% of a book then waiting a year. Therefor I avoid both companies. All networks produce about 24 episodes for years the defacto standard for 40 years. I'm betting they want money quick with make 10 and get them on the market.
They are very good 1/2 of a story's though. Put the other way 2 years of a network show like say NCIS is 46-48 episodes, Amazon will take 5 years to tell the same story. 10 years from now if they produce 100 episodes I will watch it, thats the same as 4 years to a standard network.
Personally, I actually hate the romance angles. I just hate that he's SO charismatic that he has ladies basically coming to love him from seeing the way he is. It's not exactly realistic. Then again, most modern romances aren't the realistic either in a lot of ways, but at least they can explore the more soft nuances to a character.
Unless I know it's going to be a committed relationship between the two characters, I could care less about the other women.
Nice try with the what book is season 3? Alan is no Mark Ruffalo though so you won't get it out of him.
Jesus, why you kept asking Ritchson he looks bigger than season one? Didn't you have anything else to ask? Have you done some research on the story? Reacher is supposed to be a giant, not a midget like Tom Cruise! Why didn't you thank Ritchson for building his incredible body for the audiences? I personally think Ritchson looks great, he can be Thor.

Please, please, please, don't let these interviews place Maria Sten last. On the back burner to all the other actors. It hurts me to see her overlooked in this video. If it continues, I will stop watching Reacher.
I'd like to ask if alans reacher is autistic because the more i see of him makes me think he is but it doesn't come across like that in the books
I watched all 3 and I'll watch the rest but this season is flat, contrived and boring, especially compared to the first season.
i think that season 2 will be something worse then season 1 and action scenes are more naive
So for season 2 is not near as good as season 1. Season 2 has been pretty boring.

I don't know if I'd say boring... but I totally agree it's slower for sure. And there are a lot more differences with the book as well. A lot of the early set up in the book is not there and it actually was quite a bit of fun.
Season 1 felt more new and unique. Season 2 felt like most hollywood "They're taking out my team/family/friends, so i have to step in".
