Oh the joys! I have built a few. I have found that they sell wiring harnesses now fairly well cheap. I have upgraded the pots on a few also. I put two invaders in an old BC Rich Mockingbird. The wiring had to be modified. They usually have wiring schematics online for conversations. When I put the EMGs in the Les Paul that was a treat also. Great video CHOEY! Keep on rockin man!
Ah sweet!! This is awesome man! I have just left the pots standard on both of these guitars, and am wondering how much different it would sound if I did change the pots? The Les Paul is screaming now, but the LTD has a bit of fuzz so I might need to check that one. Cheers man keep rockin!
Thank you so much Tony! Can't wait for the next jam! I have been practicing my vocals recently as I am in the studio this weekend, but more guitar jams coming soon and also I will have some time in a week or 2 for our song :)
Great demonstration of this. Never changed pickups before but this makes me think I probably could. Been thinking of upgrading some pickups in my telecaster but been a little afraid of taking it on!
I felt the same too a while back when I switched out my LTD guitar, and I was also afraid this time, it was a relief when I plugged it in! You would be able to do it :) it's quite fun and rewarding too :)
Great video mate! The LTD pickups look pretty cool on the Les Paul. I think you should remove the pickguard on the Les Paul to make it even more Slashier. haha. The Les Paul pickups looks interesting on the LTD.😃 I'm curious to hear how both sounds.
It seems to be a very nice tutorial. Good idea do meke such video Choey ! I would not do that myself OMG. Ha ha. I would give it to a specialist. I'm not good enough at technology and electronics . Have a great day. Friendships.
Ah thank you Thierry!:) They both sound cool now, I am glad it worked, a fun experiment. A specialist would have done a better job I am sure, but it was quite rewarding. I think you would be able to do this, I am not great with electronics either :) cheers, have a great day :)

Congrats on successfully swapping the pickups, Choey. Now we'll be gladly waiting for the sound check.
