EV sector is so competitive now that we are getting halo product in terms of a scooter and as enthusiast, general public I very much like this change, as it also puts pressure on ICE side of things to do more
I own a 450X gen 3 and I can see the MAGIC TWIST is available in my scooter as well. Whenever I twist the lever opposite, the vehicle stops. Enjoy the same in your scooter too
Have the connected break lights with Regen function? If it slows down so much and as you said one might get hit by the vehicle behind so there should be an alert 🤔
I believe they are blending friction brakes to maintain a uniform experience and to come to a dead halt like 1-pedal drive cars do. What I want to know is how strong is this regen? As in if you're slicing through traffic, can you get away with not using the brakes?
Yes, you're right. I saw this cofounder guy in a video saying they're using a combination of regen and motor braking to achieve this MagicTwist™. @@sepangblues
Its important to find how is this regen effect being achieved. Is it actual regen? How can you have regen if the battery is fully charged. Does it have supercapcitors to quickly absorb all that regen electrical energy, or is it consuming electricity to actually try to turn the motor the other way?
also not sure but wouldn't having your wrist in that awkward position for regen, fuck up both the your wrist on bad roads and fuck up handling in corners (well in general) while the other concern, haven't seen anyone comment on, is if regen is activated, is the stop light lit ? Can't do this properly in an ICE but with the basic electronics of an EV should be possible.
As i mentioned in the video you don't need to twist the throttle too much to get to regen. So not too much load on your wrist. I don't think the stop light comes on when you apply regen but it will be a handy feature to have
Dope review as always!❤ Not in favour of throttle controlled regen braking as it could lead to potential safety issues if you are not familiar with the sweet spot. Brake blending via ECU with adjustable regen limit should be the way to it from a safety, brake torque consistency and convenience perspective.

@@SagarSheldekarOfficial hmm. I'm not a fan of OLA because of the reliability issues, but they're VFM. Better range, top speed and features for less money than a 450X. OLA has done it better and they are the first to implement the throttle regen tech.
Even before ola ather scooter has it. But this is not the same as that regen .
Since you have made a transparent panel why not add some lighting effects too in it
OLA has been doing the force regen for a long time. Not a brand new technology
The difference lies in the amount of regen applied
