Nice review. Honda is a great car. It never let me down going on steep hills. I had mine for 13 years over 100,000 miles. I never needed the turbo. My model was the ex.
I got a 24 HRV EXL last year in Milano Red. Get the EXL for the extra options. Don’t bare bone it on the LX. I wanted a 23 Accord EX but my insurance in Texas was going up in my 6 months 445. A Civic was 440 more. The HRV EXL was the lowest at 235. I paid 29,000. No mark ups. I had 8200 trade equity. I financed 20,500 at 5.9 apr. I’m paying extra principal so in 11 months I’m at 10,762. My payment is 342 a month.
hi! does the hrv exl have a good turning radius? also, how is its merging? blind spot detectors? i’m thinking of getting a 2024 or 2024 model for a teen who’s used to driving a RWd suv car w a tighter turning radius and many safety features. thanks!
@@yours1ana the turning radius is good. The sport and exl have blind spot that beeps and lights up. The exl has cross traffic alert beeping and parking sensors as well.
@@JohnDeLorme-g7d thats great with the turning radius and blind spot detection! i think we're going to have to get a 25 because the 24s are all sold out now. it wont be used on highways or anything so hopefully it'll be fine. thank you for the reply!
@@yours1ana they brought the 25s in early. I haven’t heard of any issues. I haven’t had any with my 24. You will get cheaper car insurance. Insurance companies are charging for sedans and hatchbacks 100.00 or more a month for full coverage vs a suv. It’s sad but that’s it. At least in Texas where I live.

picking up my hr-v exl in another week. this car has a lot of people waiting because the dealerships have been selling out or they only have a limited stock
The side and rear profile reminds me of older Acura MDX but smaller. I purchased aftermarket Weather Tech HP floor Liners and the Honda Cargo Tray Mat and Cargo Cover Accessories. I think it was 30% tint put on front door windows. It was the middle choice legal for this area they won't mess with you. I checked mileage Avg nothing been reset so she's average 27.2 in 1,000+miles. She never reset trip meters. Probably forgot about Drive Modes. But extreme heat near 100s mid-atlantic need full A/C.
There is a conversion kit online for $190 pretty easy installation , got this in black and painted the rims black and tinted and blacked out emblems 👌🏼🔥

Nice review, I was debating on upgrading and this may have convinced me
It's a nice vehicle, if you have the budget, I would get the EX-L, if not, Sport has a lot of great features as well!

@@yours1ana get a 24 as the 25s have a new different type of 4 cylinder. Not the reliable K20.

Another great video!
Appreciate it!
I have a 2023 HRV EXL and it looks identical to this one. I’ve had it a year and 3 months and it has 30K miles on it now.

I have a 22 EX and I love it but I’d love more power for highway driving.

If it had rear AC vents and uSB C ports it would be perfect.
