- Benga songstress princess jully popularly known for her hit song dunia mbaya hit today lives in abject poverty. the song dunia mbaya, propelled her music career at a time when the country had declared hiv-aids a national disaster. she is now requesting the government to reward her efforts for playing a big role in educating kenyans about hiv/aids back in the ‘90s. When people educate and supposedly do charity they shouldn’t want to be compensated for their time. People donate their time. I didn’t hear her, one time, take any responsibility for her current situation & that bothers me.
