I have a coffee grinder my Mr. Coffee that only grinds spices. I like it because I can pick it up and shake it for a more even grind. ;) It isn't used for coffee beans... that would be interesting though LOL

In Garam masala originally in 50's no Coriander were used only Cumin, Black pepper, Cloves, Cinnamon, Black Cardamom, Green cardamom, Anis seed, Shahi Jeera (Black Cumin), Tej Pat (Bay Leaves) Than according to Area wise Other like Triphela etc. were used. Only after powder you add Dhania, Turmeric etc. according to your Recipes.
