Flight tickets are not a necessity for a UK visitor visa. In a UK Visit Visa Application, the intended date of travel holds importance. The key word here is ‘intended date of travel’. Hence, showing an intention to travel to the UK in the near future to visit would be sufficient to support your visit visa application to the UK.

My question is: If ako nag upload ng documents, should it be in A4 size soft copy format? Also, do i still need to bring the hard copy documents (3 copies each) even if i already uploaded it? or is it only for applicants who availed the vfs scanning service?

You can stay up to 6 months as long as you do not overstay and return before your UK visa expires. The UK usually grants 6 months, even if you stated on your visa application that you would only stay for 2 weeks.

Hindi naman po talaga xa required. Pero higher chances talaga of approval if meron kang round trip tickets. Based din po sa experience ko during the day of travel, tinanong ako ng IO if meron bang return ticket.

Hello. Yes po kukunin nila kase dyan po iaattach yung visa unless you opt for the "Keep My Passport" service, where you can keep your passport if you need it for other travel before the UK, and you will send it to them after ng travel. Ang standard process po ng UK tourist visa ay 15 working days.

Hi, I did not scan the other pages of my passport. Only the ID portion lng talaga. :) They will know naman about your travel history because you will be asked sa application form.

My bf and I met last feb 2022 so we have evidence for our relationship and also I met his mum and children here in the Philippines. Meron clang questions pero di naman yun yung basis. Your documents will be assessed pa.. The interview is usually done during the day of your flight. Dun na mismo sa airport with the immigration officers.
Hello po. Hope this helps. In a UK tourist or visitor visa, there are 2 options to submit your application: first, you can choose to self-upload your documents, which you can do on the VFS website. You can only upload to the website once you've finished the application form, paid the visa fee, and booked the biometric. The second option is that you can avail of document scanning in VFS, where you can add an additional fee aside from the visa fee. In this option, VFS will upload the documents for you in their designated category if you are not familiar with how DIY works.

Meron kasing portion sa application form asking how much you plan to spend during your visit. If fully sponsored ka, just put P10k sa estimated expenses then have P50k in your bank account to be safe.

hello maam this coming friday is my appointment to vfs but nalungkot po ako kasi i feel this kind of feeling the negativity..to the point that parang ayoko ng pumunta s appointment ko.malabo kasi docs namin both side wala sa standard ng gusto ng embassy 😭

Hi, I did not scan the other pages of my passport. Only the ID portion lng talaga. :) They will know naman about your travel history because you will be asked sa application form.

After mag bayad ng visa fee, then schedule na para for biometric, ang ask ko ung ibang payment sa service doon na mismo sa embassy or online pa rin. At ung document doon na rin scan.

My schedule of my appointment in makati is on oct 31,2023 and my bf and his children are planning to go to UK on dec 17-jan5 2024 to visit her mum on holidays. Now I am married to a filipino but we are on process annulment last jan 2022 and Ive already received a 1st summon letter. My bf and I met last feb 2022 so we have evidence for our relationship and also I met his mum and children here in the Philippines.
I already have the docs required to apply for standard visitor visa. Btw I am a permanent teacher here in the philippines also so I provide all the important need too-travel order,employment cert,itr,service record, pay slip et) so this will be a great help that I will not work in UK kasi I need to return to the philippine to continue my work as a teacher.
My bf will be the one to shoulder my expenses and he sponsor me. Hopefully they will approve my visa and sana madali ang result kasi less than 3mons na din .

Meron clang questions pero di naman yun yung basis. Your documents will be assessed pa.. The interview is usually done during the day of your flight. Dun na mismo sa airport with the immigration officers.

In a UK tourist or visitor visa, there are 2 options to submit your application: first, you can choose to self-upload your documents, which you can do on the VFS website. You can only upload to the website once you've finished the application form, paid the visa fee, and booked the biometric.
The second option is that you can avail of document scanning in VFS, where you can add an additional fee aside from the visa fee. In this option, VFS will upload the documents for you in their designated category if you are not familiar with how DIY works.

no, you can apply for extension to stay but most probably you will be denied, if you want a work permit, you have to go back to philippines /or your country of origin to apply for a work visa

UK always advises everyone that buying tickets in advance is not recommended, as this will not guarantee visa approval.

Do you have bank statements (like the payroll account where your income goes) showing the same amount of money found in your payslip?
you can appeal against the decision, but you should have valid reasons to overturn their decisions and a valid supporting docs like gsis/sss

Meron kasing portion sa application form asking how much you plan to spend during your visit. If fully sponsored ka, just put P10k sa estimated expenses then have P50k in your bank account to be safe.
