By cutting all those holes in the slide, your significantly changing the mass of the slide. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that could seriously effect the function of the gun. A faster moving slide could damage the rear of its travel from recoil and cause feed and eject problems from going into battery too quickly.
How local are you to them? I am in Greensboro and I would like to talk to someone who knows what they are doing about getting some work done on an H&K P30sk. I am not even sure if what I want can be done without creating more problems than it would be worth, but I have also been blown off by some who just dismissed any kind of work being done on the "sk" model. I know that's probably a long story but any advice on how to learn more about this type of machinery? Hey I saw you do slide work on an XD Springfield Armory it was okay but I was wondering would you be able to see and see those lumps on the sides of the XD firearm there so ugly I love the way you do the slide work for the Glocks I would like something similar to that is that possible
Whenever I write up the g-code in my cad/cam program it defaults to clockwise/counter clockwise automatically and it does this based off the type of pocket/profile/engrave and bit size I set. What this means is you will probably see the machine cut in both direction during several of my videos. Why? Because I forgot to change the direction!! At the end of the day it makes no difference to me. I am usually cutting with a 1/8 cutter and that required me to cut slow on a hardened surface. I end up running the machine at a fraction of its capacity because of the smaller bits iin hard material.

Jack Ridge cz slides are already pretty trimmed out, it would be tough to take a lot off of one without significantly impacting the reliability of the slide action

The PROBLEM with you Glock guys is, that you think because you bought a $560 Glock brand new and sit on it for a year or two and that y’all can sell it for damn near NEW Glock prices. Why in hell would anyone buy a used Glock when you can spend a little more money and get a new Glock! If you would have had it listed for $275-300 it would have sold like hot cakes, but no you greedy Basterds want NEW GLOCK PRICES FOR OLD USED GLOCKS. Just doesn’t make any sense

Can you mill a Gen 3 Glock slide the same as an MOS, so the Glock plates fit, or do I have to get it milled for one particular optic?

As of right now I have never had to replace a spring in any of my glocks or customer glocks yet.

In the beginning, it looks like the mill is being used manually. Are you just using the jog on the controller?
When I did the tapering of the edges I was doing it by hand. The top ports and pattern was all done by cnc.

When you shave off so much weight off the 19 slide does it become unreliable with OEM guide rods?
No. We have never had to replace or upgrade a spring.
