Nice ruler, good ideas for layouts, nice video except for the ironing on your cutting mat. (I'm sure it was not hot)

Great video! Thanks for the instructions. I have a ton of old T-shirts to use for projects and needed this information. You made it easy for me!

Is it possible to iron on those rotary mats? I accidently did so on a self-healing one and it warped. I have one like the one in the video and I'm thinking it would also warp. Are they able to withstand the heat and steam? Thank you.

Thank you for your question, Julie. We do not recommend ironing on any cutting mat. In the interest of expediting the video, we chose to leave the mat in place and simply demonstrate the ironing technique for the interfacing with a cold iron. Our apologies if this caused confusion. Kind regards, June Tailor, Inc.

JuneTailorInc Okay, thank you! I thought perhaps my mat like that was iron-proof! It'd be nice if it was! Thanks for the clarification.

Hi Georgia, we have two great options for making t-shirt quilts. One is our reversible t-shirt quilt kit which has everything you will need to make a 24 block (12 t-shirts on each side) quilt. The other option is to purchase the T-shirt Transformation Ruler, and the T-shirt Project Interfacing. All these items are on our website, along with updated videos, and on sale until July 8th. Here's the link: www.junetailor.com/new-promo/

I wish I had this ruler and demo when I was making my t-shirt quilt. Mine didn't look like this. My poor t-shirts!
