As a result, the government uses this substandard education to keep themselves in power so that they, the government can continue to deliver substandard service to the people. I know already about Rwandan culture & structure; but your video seems to bring out a side that convinces me to start the movement back to a peaceful place. Heaven is on earth.
I'm glad it is disrupting your thought process, Omar. Many Rwandans and blackexpats don't see the "other side" of Rwanda. They don't see the luxurious life other ethnicities (foreigners) are enjoying in Rwanda/Africa. In many ways, I can't blame them because many are not exposed and are somewhat closed-minded in learning new things. I'm from a poor background, and that's why I fit very well in Nyamirambo, but I also adjust very well in the country clubs... because I want to know why some people are successful and why others fail.... and the best way to know is to be around successful people, adapt, and become well-rounded mentally. Rwanda, is what's possible for many countries when they have the right leadership, corruption is low, and foreign powers are not destabilizing them (Sorry, that was a mouthful).
Well I live in NY but when I go home to rural Jamaica I feel just like this. I visit my primary school and watch the kids just like you. Rwanda is very clean and beautiful too. ❤❤🇯🇲

Rwanda has a lot to teach us as Black people in the West and specifically America, that people can live together in peace. It makes me proud to be an African.
@Troy Duncan A forced peace in Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Bahrain has made them very successful. I believe almost everything you use comes from China, not to mention the development that's happening in the Caribbean and all around the world is financed my a society that’s "not free.". Too much freedom has led to indiscipline, high crime rate, low educational standards, unwanted pregnancies, poverty, and people that are mentally dead.

True Rose, I tried, I did and all I got is many cheating me and now I have tenants in court who decide they don't want to pay.... and badness and aggression are the solutions.
In order to effect change, sometimes what is required is honesty. There is absolutely nothing wrong with highlighting the virtues of another country, especially one that we might be ancestrally connected to and one that has risen from the ashes like a phoenix to become an African success story after the bloody conflict of the 90s’ - it can be catalytic! Jamaica is in need of a complete socio-political and economic overhaul, but first, it must take ownership of its failed system of governance as far as crime and corruption are concerned, along with the security measures associated with the cost of doing business. Crime is one of the most pervasive and damaging societal problems plaguing the island and it is a deterrent for people like myself who had hopes of returning to live there one day! I’ve lived in Africa now since 2021, Tanzania and now Zambia, and I have been forced to rethink the old adage “no weh no nicer dan yard!”
@Vanes Cassells As the saying goes, render unto Cesar what is good for Ceasar. Jamaica can become better, but a few don't want it to be that way. I appreciate your comments, and we need to do a zoom soon. I want the best for our island, but I will not use emotionalism and patriotism to dictate my decisions. I look at the numbers, and Jamaica's doesn't look good. So, like you, I want to give back, and I'm doing so with those who need it. No way, no better than Mama Africa.

Leadership is what made the difference in Rwanda, Singapore, Korea, China, Japan, Island, 10:55 Norway, etc. Without leaders who enforce law, the culture of the people will be lawlessness. Not only are the people following the law, the law enforcement officers do not abuse the people.

Nah as a Ugandan 🇺🇬 who is well aware of that practice of cutting girls hair low I have to disagree. Shaving women's heads in African schools was something introduced by the oppressor, the oppressor who didn't understand our hair or hair texture & is a hold over from the European military complex. We don't need to shave girls heads, we should go back to a time where we have the skills to look after our hair as a community.
True! I understand, I don't believe it's enforced, I just believe it's a cost-effective gesture... and if you watch RTV news, you'll realize that some girls braid their hair.
It is enforced in the school...that's they og commentary said. This is a common practice in Africa. Nobody wants to cut their hIr at that age....I had to cut my hair to go to school in Nigeria....Africans are telling you the history and you're telling us no?

As a result, the government uses this substandard education to keep themselves in power so that they, the government can continue to deliver substandard service to the people. One day the masses of Jamaican people will wake up. Long live *Kagame*. He puts his people first. Rwanda is one of the few places in the world whereby the Chinese 'investors' cannot abuse the people. They would never dare to keep two cash registers openly ( one for the govt and one for themselves) nor could they physically abuse any Rwandese citizen and get away with it!
In rare situations,
*AUTHORITARIANS* can be a Good thing.
Say what you will about the current President....
but his government is focused on ZERO CORRUPTION.
Mommar Gaddafi was another example.
Say what you will about his practices.....
But LIBYA was one of the *Crown JEWELS* of the Continent.

Many thanks Violet, much appreciated
Extremely uplifting video ‼️‼️ Imagine if all Countries on the Continent joined in ☺️☺️☺️☺️

A forced peace is a fragile peace. My home country of Grenada in the Caribbean is free and peaceful..

Every Country have their negatives and positives sides.Instead of pointing out,and comparing, we can also ask what can we do to help make our Country better.
Yes, please let me know when you are planning to do the zoom call. Peace🌻

For how long?
You have to build the country you want to live in and not ask others to do same or in your behalf. Jamaica is tough but we can be passive or active in our outcry
I so agree
I could not agree with you more.
Leadership is what made the difference in Rwanda, Singapore, Korea, China, Japan, Island, 10:55 Norway, etc. Without leaders who enforce law, the culture of the people will be lawlessness. Not only are the people following the law, the law enforcement officers do not abuse the people.
As a return resident to Jamaica I 2020, one of the things I really hate is how easy it is for my people to throw garbage every and anywhere. They drink out of the bottle or lunch box and just drop them all over the place.
You're absolutely right. But it all comes from the head. Do you know President Kigame will stop his motorcade and pick up a garbage on the street, just to set an example.

Jamaica is very beautiful, but the crime and corruption is very ugly. That's why they're more Jamaicans out of Jamaica than what's inside of it.
@@JamCan6322 you could say that for majority of countries in the world, you people don't have any loyalty, if Jamaica had a leader like Paul Kagame, people like would be calling him a dictator, you know what some Jamaica people are like, they are an indiscipline set of people, Rwanda is what it is because of Paul Kagame leadership and what that countries have been through, so I don't know why you should be bashing Jamaica.
@@dawnb.1127 Jamaica needs to be bashed until they bring their crime under control. Stop defending criminality and corruption. Demand that the Jamaican government do better for the country.
Why does Jamaica have such a high murder rate? I say this as someone who loves Jamaica and have Jamaican parents. Do better, Jamaica!!
A country is not beautiful by it's landscape. it's beautiful by the people, the culture, Orderliness peace tranquility and decency. unfortunately Jamaica has inhabited a level of ghettoism that is to the deepest depth of instability and it will take a lot to recuperate from that level of corruption and unlawlessness that we have acquired over the last few years And our leaders are no example of leadership. The hustle mentality has destroyed us and created more criminals than we would love to see and it doesn't seem as if we will ever get to normalcy anytime soon
@Janice Morris. Well, many would say, "we need to pray." But what Jamaica needs is proper leadership. However, it won't happen because Uncle Sam and the other colonial overlords don't want to see orderly black people.
@@ao4618 I am a Ugandan 🇺🇬 so am well versed in that history seeing it done to my cousins etc & I say NO. Our girls over in the West are fine without getting their heads shaved, they have mum's, Aunties & friends that help them look after their hair. It's about looking after black hair not shaving people bald.
Yes as a Ugandan 🇺🇬 I am saying NO, it's stinks of the European military complex. Answer this question have you ever come across this practice inflicted on white European girls in any European school? Even amongst the white children in international schools across the continent? That's a resounding NO, so I ask why we should perpetuate this practice on our own girls in African schools?
