Awesome video. I was just about to drop money on the Smallcar kit, but this is looking more appealing. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge, it is beyond appreciated. I joked on FB that those who install these never return back with info, but you proved me wrong in such a major way lol. Thank you again!

Very informative video. This will be my project after my engine swap. Did you compile a parts list by any chance?

@@raulmemoirs search TheSamba.com for rtx2000 Vanagon -you’ll see a complete list there. Also, prices have fallen a lot over the past year.

Appreciate you posting this! How necessary do you think the support bar is?

Honestly, probably not needed if using Sicaflex (that stuff in crazy strong).

Look for the video on the TheSamba.com forum. You can find my contact info there. Connect anytime. But yes, it's been the best modification for the westy. Amazing.

great work! How loud would you say the unit is, is it right in your ear as you drive?

As far as RV AC units go, it's one of the quietest ones on the market. Personally, it doesn't bother me at all. The cool air is worth every decibel. Look around on UA-cam as well...there are many decibel tests out there with the consensus being it's pretty quiet.
