I enjoy-joyed that...I just wish I could watched you pressure flake it. The finished piece looked AWESOME. Thank you for your patience and wonderful skill ! You'd make a fair indian, as far as your skill-set goes! I'm subbing.
Just found your site, really enjoyed watching you work. Love the way the rock flakes. The texture and color remind me of Burlington chert. I don't mind in fossils. I like rock with some individuality.
I appreciate that! The only time I don’t like inclusions is when they hinder the flakes (make step fractures) other than that they definitely give it some character. Thanks for watching!
You’re material is a lot like stuff I find n use in parts of Missouri. Would that make it just Missouri costal? I like all the crazy fossils n crystalized fossils they add uniqueness.
It is a pleasure to watch you work on this coastal
I appreciate that!
Beautiful work....beautiful rock
Thanks John!
Great video. Love the lessons in there !
Thanks Channing! Glad you liked it

Looks like some Walton Park material. It took heat well.
From a different place but your right. same type of material as what you’d get there. Mid to High grade with inclusions.

Sounds good to me!
Lemme get some of that!
