Picked up one of these on Amazon, and it dried my whole truck (2022 Ram Rebel). Did an amazing job, just kept soaking up the water. I got the XL size, I wish they actually made a bigger size. Nice product review.
Hey David. Man I tell ya, this towel has been one of my favorites for awhile now. Their Amphibian also has twisted fibers on 1 side and Plush on the other. Amazing! Checkout Griot's PFM (I think that's what they call it) its shorter nap but works Amazing as well. Maybe a tad better than this one! Take care
Thanks for the awesome video again! I didn't purchase this towel, but I did purchase some from AutoFiber, they have some really nice stuff. I love their glass towels.
I have a rag company gauntlet, a chemical guys wooly mammoth and a autofiber dreadnought and XL. i catch myself going to the dreadnoughts more often. the others two are ok but when you have something that is better and more effective you tend to use that more. I use some mini gauntlets for wheels and they work great but if i want a car done quickly with minimal passes i go for the dreadnought.
Hey Paul how you doing. Ya know, I LOVE the af towels! What a great company! TRC , Griots are great too. I also used a couple from Luxury Microfiber that are good. I'm with you though, I find myself reaching for the Dreadnought or my Amphibians 90% of the time! Thanks for sharing, much Appreciated!!
I can do my Focus with one. Takes 2, sometimes 3 Dreadnoughts to dry the F250. Amazing towels. One thing I've noticed is -- at least it seems to me -- they lose some of their absorbancy after being washed. Still much better than a regular towel, but not as good as a new, non-washed Dreadnought.
Interesting. May I ask what detergent you use, water temp, drying temp? Use a dedicated microfiber detergent, or a dye free perfume free laundry soap. I wash mine on Cold, no softener, and dry on low to no heat. I hope that helps. Thank you for the comment and thanks for the support!! Stay tuned !
@@JerryFahrni, thanks for the feedback. That is definitely odd. Reach out to Autofiber, ian can chat with you about it.. perhaps it is left over softener ... that's odd. Maybe another subscriber has had a similar issue and can enlighten both of us. I'm glad you shared. .. one thing I KNOW for certain! Detailing is not one size fits all.. some guys/gals have no issues, other have a few. I really appreciate you chiming in today! Continue your detailing adventures. Tons of fun!
Good afternoon, between Sucker Jr. Edgeless Towel Drying 24" x 16" and the Autofiber dreadnought, which makes your drying work better and which is more durable?. Thanks
Hi Catherine. I think af towels are in the top tier of towels. I Use those most often. The sucker towels are shorter nap and do feel a tad more durable. Truth is, I have yet to wear any of my towels out. As far as the towel that seems to dry more square feet, I'd give the nod to Griots edgeless... it really strikes me as odd though because af and Griot Edgeless drying towel are basically identical.... I give the slight advantage on durability to the shorter nap towels.... hope this helps. Take care and Thank You!
I use Microfiber restore OR any dedicated Microfiber wash. Cold water in the wash, NO BLEACH, NO FAB SOFTENER! I tumble dry on LOW or No HEAT for about 30 minutes... no fabric sheet in dryer either... thanks for the inquiry. Have a great weekend
Hi Mike. Yes it is best to wash first per manufacturer. That said, I don't always do that.... sorry to be conflicting... enjoy the process and thank you for watching! Have a GREAT weekend✌️

@@detailit I use Micro-Restore. Wash on cold. Dry on delicate. I think it's probably left over fabric softener residue in the washing machine.

Hi Jaime ! By the fiber and the GSM rating they are the same towel.. win-win

Can I achieve this finish even if I haven’t washed my car in about 2 years? Or do I need to do additional steps such as clay/compound/polish?
Hey Mohamad. I'd advise you atleast wash , Clay, polish! Thanks or watching👍
How do you wash these, or do you just let them hang dry?
I use Microfiber restore OR any dedicated Microfiber wash. Cold water in the wash, NO BLEACH, NO FAB SOFTENER! I tumble dry on LOW or No HEAT for about 30 minutes... no fabric sheet in dryer either... thanks for the inquiry. Have a great weekend
