Good questions! Honestly, chainsaws give me too much anxiety since I don't use them often. The ability to have the safety on the saw gives me some feeling of security, though I admit it's not fullproof. Corded vs. cordless = I didn't want to have the battery run out in the middle of a cut. To me, again just my personal feelings of safety, I felt more comfortable using a corded tool. TLDR: I'm a wuss and this "felt" safest for me to use.
Ever mistake a giant weed for a plant you've intentionally planted, or is it just me?
There is a mini chainsaw for that also why not cordless?
