Bought the Vertigo in 2016, didn't realize the bottom boot cracked out so bad it made a gaping hole one gig without me realizing it (spent time mostly in the closet, unused) Good thing my guitar didn't slip out that day. Emailed the customer service, they asked for receipt and pics then sent me a new one couple weeks ago (Jan 2023). Talk about amazing service and easy process. Excellent 11/10!
However.. I'm pretty hesitant on keeping this case due to the experience and bought myself Gator Icon. We'll see how it goes.
My boot never caused any issues, but I did have a seam start to blow out where one of the straps attaches to the side of the bag. I was within the 3 year warranty period, so I was sent a new one with no issues. Sounds like you got lucky, because I’ve had a few friends get zero support once their products are older than 3 years.

Mono customer service was not very cool when I asked for a replacement on the Tic
That isn’t a huge surprise. One of my friends had a Mono stick bag. The carrying handle separated from the bag, and they deemed it “wear and tear” and wouldn’t replace it. That’s pretty week, in my book.
hey man whats the length of the vertigp case and can it fit something like a sire?
The Vertigo is 47 inches inside. I'm sure a Sire would fit - this case fits my Ibanez BTB and Lakland 5 string, which are my longest basses.
Hi, is there a gig bag that can carry both Electric Guitar and GT-1000 Pedalboard together?
I would consider getting a double bag and using the second guitar compartment for the effects unit. Double bags are a great way to carry a bunch of accessories or clothing for trips.
hey, does the sleeve fit a lot of sheet music?
Yes, it does. The front pocket is quite expandable. Much more so than the Vertigo.

I wouldn't check it. It would probably survive a gate-check, but I would be much more comfortable gate-checking one of the heavier cases.
Sounds like they fail alot. Think I'll pass. Doesn't matter how willing they are to fix them if evey one you get is just going to fail.
I think it’s like anything these days - there are enough of these things being produced where there are bound to be some defects. My second one (the replacement) is 9 years old at this point. But like I mentioned in the video, one of my drummer friends had the handle come off of a Mono stick bag and they classified it as wear and tear to get out of replacing it. If you are looking for a quality case, my vote is Reunion Blues. I’ve been using the Continental Voyager. I think it’s a bit more rugged, and I get the impression that RB stands behind their products more, as well as just being better to their customers overall. Companies like Mono only really give the time of day to people with large social media followings - RB still cares about all of their customers regardless.

A good case is really underrated. I actually just ordered a single M80 for my bass, and now I'm kind of regretting not going for the double!
Man, as cool as it is, I can see things getting really heavy really fast! But you’ll really dig that single. I’m going to also use one of the compartments for clothes for overnight or weekend trips.
@@mwilesbass that was my initial thought; how heavy it would be with two basses. Plus, if I picked up the Mono Tick for my little board, that would make it even worse. Also, brilliant idea about the compartment for clothing. I once did a week-and-a-half tour in Japan with just a big drumstick bag. Had my sticks, and a few shirts in it. Thats all you need!
Is the front pocket as expandable on the single as it is on the double?
@@CNick75 I have never used the double for bass, but have used it for guitar. I actually feel like the pocket doesn't expand as much with the double, just because its a tighter fit squeezing two instruments.

I have the sleeve for my Tele and love it. I agree, wouldn't really feel comfortable with an angled headstock but for the Fender guitars it's just amazing.
That was my thought for when I bought one, but then I went through a time where my angled headstock basses were the ones leaving the house with me more often. I loved how light it was, and the ash color is awesome.
do you know if the case (not the sleeves) can accommodate a fender Jazz 5 strings?
