Camera Crew does a phenomenal job and makes it look easy! I have attempted to record video for a club member before and it's not nearly as easy as Meghan makes it look.
Brian, I enjoy all your video's. I just purchased the twin timber and cannot for the life of me understand how to get safe to work. I am new to flying and started with the carbon cub s2. I bought the Radiomaster TX16s and cannot get the safe to work (it works great on the carbon cub). i figured it's not compatible with the radio, I ordered the NX10 and have no luck with this either. Everything else works fine, flaps, throttle cut, dual rates, but no safe or AS3X. I made sure all travel is 100%, when i go to channel assign, aux 2 channel 7 assingn to switch B. Forward Programming- Gyro Settings- I turn on SAFE at the bottom of the screen but it never turns ON on the upper part of the screen. It always shows OFF. The AS3X turn off and on but not safe. When i go to the monitor screen and toggle the switch, ch 7 changes 100 then 0 then -100. I am about to give up.
I owned 2 of the original Timber and long after my rookie days of flying it was still 1 of my favorite planes. After a 4 year hiatus and selling all but 1 of my planes I want 1 of each timber available and the umx versions too.
NICEEEEEE - bprc.me/Timber hey, one tip, after you've sucked the life out of all the timbers you can get you hands on....you might want to consider the OMP Bushmaster bprc.me/OMP_Bushmaster and/or OMP Challenger bprc.me/OMP_Challenger - I don't often try to make these connections for people, since most choices about planes are highly subjective, but these are hard to miss...these planes, equipped with bprc.me/AR631 or bprc.me/AR637T or bprc.me/AR8360T will knock your socks off! P.S. NOT trying to talk you OUT of any Timber, although I'd say, if you're asking - get the NIGHT TIMBER and that'll cover both the Night Timber and Timber X (Same but one with internal light kit)
Is it weird that I'm super excited for you guys to finally have a big, expensive hole in the ground, filled with water, frogs, and eventually RC pieces? 😅 This twin Timber will look amazing on floats, skimming across the water, then corn-holing itself dry a few mistakes high!! Great camera work, per usual, from the camera crew. Love this video. Thanks, guys 👍
Looking forward to seeing the next step in the evolution of the Phillips hacienda. I hope we get a walking tour like youve done before. I have a pond on my property, very secluded (you can see it in my aerial videos) that is full of millions of frogs, and wood ducks that support the coyote and Eagle population.
Sweet! We'll definitely do some videos of the pond, both during construction, and after, and as the pond starts to burst into life with all sorts of cool stuff!
Gotta get one of these someday. Reminds me of a Pixar Planes character, which is charming. Flies beautifully. Fantastic camera work, as always. Fantastic flights, if not landings 😂😅😜
Question. Do you get a lot of hate for using safe or gyros in general? There was another UA-cam creator that did a video on that recently and I’m just curious what your thoughts are about that. Love your channel man! It’s helped me more than you know!!!
Thanks Patrick, and I could care less if anyone thinks less of us for using stabilizers. We use them and like them a LOT, but as for AUTO-LEVELING, if you need it to get flying, DO IT and who cares what anyone else thinks. They've been flying too long to remember how hard it really is!!!! I'm working with Megan right now to help her get better flying, and she IS GETTING BETTER, but you better believe, she's using stabilizers and auto-leveling. As for getting hate, what we've experienced, it's very mild from our perspective, but I hear it's a bit more of an issue amongst the older pilots at some clubs...
I think Jon (without the "h") sees a lot of that gyro bashing in his discord server chats, in addition to his somewhat short-ish flight videos. He's pretty No Nonsense. Might be one reason he put out that well edited, scripted and witty video. 👍
Where do you live? Absolutely beautiful. I live in Phoenix, AZ. Beautiful in its own way but definitely not green! Just bought one of these twin timbers. Flew it into a pond within 2 minutes. Got a new one on the way!
Ok I have a random question. I have a NX8 and a NX10 the NX10 I picked up used. So the question is on the NX10 the throttle is on the right stick not on the left. I have searched everywhere I can’t seem to see where it is not programmed correctly. What are you thoughts? Thanks in advanced.
Go into FUNCTION LIST > SYSTEM SETUP > (Choose YES to Disconnect RF) > SYSTEM SETTINGS > (the fourth option down from the top) MODE: 1 (1 in your case) - Change this to a 2 and you'll be set.
One of my Spektrum batteries is over two yrs old and currently has 47 cycles on it. And yet it still performs like new. Just curious, how many cycles can a Spektrum battery do?
How would you line up the MOUTH, since the nose is low on this plane. The P-40 has the intake that makes the MOUTH portion of the shark livery...or are you saying on EACH of the NACELLES? < That would be cool!
Brian the Night Timber X and the Timber X have different electronic components . The Night is the😮 better of the two besides the lights. I was lucky enough to get mine when on sale for same price as The regular Timber X. You gain Avian ESC , AR637TA instead of the AR631 . Hands down the Night X is absolutely a awesome small STOL / stunt plane. Not sold on this funny looking twin .
Vielen Dank mach weiter so 👍👍👍😂😘👌
Hey when do you know your ready for a more advanced plane. I've been flying my apprentice sts now for a month 20 mins a day four days a week. I want a carbon z Cessna 150t. I love large planes
Yes. Carbon Z Cessna is a great plane. Just keep in mind it is a tail dragger so ease into the power and get the tail flying till you get used to it. Brian flew my Carbon Z Cessna at Joe Nall. Fast forward to approx 33 minutes in that video to see him fly it. I wish you lots of luck in the RC hobby. 👋😉
It's when the motors both run at different rates depending on the rudder input from the pilot. It's a very neat feature that allows you to command yaw inputs in addition to the rudder, but this plane has excellent rudder authority, so let's just call it OVER THE TOP yaw authority ;)
Whats the best transmitter to use all the features of the twin timber.. i kno the plane has a 6ch rx in the bnf.. so im torn between the dx6 or the dx8.. i just dont wanna buy the dx6 and find out that i need one or 2 more channels to have everything working..
This would be an ideal FPV platform
I think it would be cool, since you could YAW where ever you want, and keep her totally FLAT
My thoughts exactly...
This guy just has the perfect life.Where I am,it's always raining and the ground is messy.I have to wait a long time before I can fly my plane.
We film the highlights, just like everyone else ;)
I love this plane! Thanks for the build review. It was helpful. I like that you no longer have the powerlines.

Super love you and camera CREW. love the plane nice flying.
Thanks!!!
Good my friend 😊
Love all the Timbers this one especially 👍
Love your vids. Good job. Hope camera crew is fine.

Hey Brian can this Twin Timber accomodate a twin 4S 4000 pack like the EC-1500 does? Thanks!
One of my Spektrum batteries is over two yrs old and currently has 47 cycles on it. And yet it still performs like new. Just curious, how many cycles can a Spektrum battery do?
Some P-40 warhawk nose art decals would look bad ass on that thing Brian!
How would you line up the MOUTH, since the nose is low on this plane. The P-40 has the intake that makes the MOUTH portion of the shark livery...or are you saying on EACH of the NACELLES? < That would be cool!
Maybe just some googly eyes and mouth then lol.
You fly that like A UMX, wow nice.

Pull The Trigger, That's An Even Bigger + Better Plane & Easy To Fly Also! 😁😎

Where can I get that flag that is acting as a windsock??
Similar to our Wind Socks amzn.to/3P0AevF
You'll probably also need a pole amzn.to/3WThP5Z
@@BrianPhillipsRC thank you! 😁
Will be my 11th RC Plane guys 😊
AWESOME!!! Have a blast!
Check out my twin timber fpv flight
Yee-Haw & Ohhh Yeahhh Son... 👍👍😁😎
The world needs more timbers.. 😂
One video you have to do this is jack black and I'm gonna make you want to buy this plane😊
what is differential thrust?
It's when the motors both run at different rates depending on the rudder input from the pilot. It's a very neat feature that allows you to command yaw inputs in addition to the rudder, but this plane has excellent rudder authority, so let's just call it OVER THE TOP yaw authority ;)
Do you ca change, give more authority to this feature to achieve flat spins?
Great vid. Only 2201 long 😅. Haven't maiden mine yet. Looks like a good flyer.
Flying Carpet! 😅🤣😂🥰
Only 22 minutes! 😂
Really enjoy the videos.
Wished I could get my wife to be my camera crew! What would you do without her?
Good to see you guys doing great! You don’t sound as excited as normal?
