- After a couple years away, the America’s favorite fake-psychic investigative duo is back in the form of Psych: The Movie, and, early reviews indicate Gus and Shawn’s on-screen chemistry is as palpable as ever. But what about the off-screen chemistry? I'm new to the series, somebody got me into it and another acquaintance of mine is exactly Shawn's persona and how they are and stuff are exactly are and the sarcasm. Plus they live in Cali and they both are half white and Mexican like James is. 🙂 This is my new fav show. I'm currently watching season 6

well i will say that psych was one of the best tv shows and i wish if it could continue... for atleast 20 years because shawn and gus are very in to these characters and how much they switch to other shows people will always remember them as psych detectives

I own all the seasons of the TV show on DVD. Wish I had the movie. I missed it came on TV, haven't really USA Network since Burn Notice, Monk, Psych, Royal Pains, Covert Affairs, and Graceland all ended.
I also own all of Burn Notice and Monk on DVD too.

It’s so hard to say Psych is the best tv show. Because when it aired, Monk, House, White Collar, and Burn Notice were airing. I wish USA Network can just make a huge crossover with all those shows. It would be epic! 😎😼
They didn't show him, but Monk did get mentioned in the final episode of Psych

Shawn/Lassie & Gus made the show. When they changed it over to the Shawn/Juliet hour the show/writing went completely downhill. The first few seasons are by far the best seasons out of all of them - the writing is much sharper, funnier and on point. Shawn is also made to actually appear SMART in the earlier seasons, whereas later seasons he's just randomly guessing at shit until he stumbles on the right answer. They never should have made Shawn/Juliet canon. If anything, they should have explored the writers declaring online that Lassie was pansexual instead of giving him a boring hetero-normative ending as well. Shawn and Lassie had FAR more sexual chemistry together of any of the other characters on the show - that would have made for a FAR more interesting exploration that the snorefest that was Shules.
I didn' t like Shules either and I thought the show would go downhill when they got together but some of the best episodes were after the hooked up. I agree they dumbed down Shawn in later seasons.

Gordon T they’re quite good friends in real life as well, but that doesn’t mean they know really obscure facts like this. They haven’t actually known each other since childhood like in the show.
They’re good friends irl… James was one of dulé’s groomsmen. Not knowing the answer to obscure questions is the weirdest way to gauge friendship
@@cami7026 Maybe you are right but maybe he just had him be a groomsmen because he felt obligated to. They worked together so long that he felt it was the respectful thing to do but that doesn’t mean they are really friends. It is dangerous to jump to conclusions with out asking them
