  • Learn this quick tip for adjusting stuck percussion hardware with PAS Education Committee Chair ‪@OliverNMolina‬ from the PAS Classroom. TLDR: Drumsticks are useful for more than just playing.
PAS Classroom is a video series focused on quick and valuable tips and tricks for percussionists, drummers, music students, and (in particular) music educators. Learn techniques and strategies you can take back to your percussion classroom or performance in under three minutes. PAS Classroom is created and produced by the Education Committee of the Percussive Arts Society.
Dr. Oliver Molina is chair of the PAS Education Committee and an Associate Professor of Music and Assistant Director of Bands at Northwestern State University of Louisiana. As an active percussion performer, educator, arranger, adjudicator, and clinician, Dr. Molina has presented and performed at various state Day of Percussion events, PASIC, NCPP, and other music conferences and festivals. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Omojo Percussion Duo and the Ninkasi Percussion Group.
PAS members have access to the many more resources in our extensive library at pas.org, and get a discounted registration to the Percussive Arts International Convention (PASIC), the premiere percussion event each year with over 100 world-class clinicians, concerts, new music debuts, workshops and hours of educator professional development. Give your students these benefits as well (plus an exclusive Masterclass) with a Group or Studio Membership.
