Honestly? Would've been better in case of the heroes from the Cathay Caravans if they could level up, equip gear and ancillaries and so on. This way we'd get Ogre Hunters on Stonehorns, Empire Captains on Pegasi, HElf Nobles with Chariots and so on.
I was so mad when I found out that they patched the game so you couldn't put heroes and caravans. So you couldn't put heroes and caravans. It was the only thing that made my chaos. Dwarf caravans like more functional. Like more functional. Because otherwise you don't have magic. You have like random assortment of shitty units, it was a great way to level up my heroes. I could send them in a caravan to go guard it. Guaranteed combat.
Cathay Caravans are becoming so good now thanks to the updates its receiving. And now we got heroes that can be added to the caravans. That will make caravans even stronger and really shape up battles the caravan takes part in.
Welp. I hope on future patches we might have new endgame scenarios and more unusual locations. I will always hope for CA doing a great job so Warhammer 3 gets plenty of support and one day we might see Ind and Khuresh factions (and people can say whatever, I will still hope for it)
My biggest issue is sacking settlements came when I played pirates of the vampire Coast. Any of those really island tiny like Island or peninsula settlements. After you sack them so you can build your vampire Coast. You get stuck inside the settlement. Because you're inside of the zone of control and you can't leave unless you RAZE the city.
Listen man, it's pretty clear you're moving too fast and making mistakes. The quality is suffering in the quest for 100K+. I get it, but slow it down. The video has mistakes with no visual of the patch notes after 7:00. And link to patch notes in description as stated?
The latter is a major pet peeve of mine. Creators who say "link in the description" or the like, and then there's no link, really annoy me. If you say you're going to do something, and you leave you saying that in the video, then do it.
i was having a crash to desktop everytime i finish the "Fallen Ones" grudge by destroying last grimgor settlement while they are the source of the end game crisis....been so annoying
Of the entire fix list, there are 4, maybe 5 changes that actually matter, and half of them are features introduced from the last hot fix... So basically they are dropping weekly fixes to fix what they added in the previous weekly fix? Couldn't they just QC their patch a bit better and release them once they have play tested it?
I can appreciate that, but I much prefer this rather than something being broken and having to wait months for it to be fixed. Remember Nakai and the kroxigors? Took 5 minutes to fix real time, wasn't patched for months.
You've missed so much. New stuff ceases to be fun when they inevitably nerf it into the ground. Not to mention if left to their own devices CA will make every faction devoid of fun (like the vampire counts currently). So waiting just means you don't have to deal with hoping for anything new, but that's about it
I just hope they fix the pathfinding on Cathayan maps. I regularly see units move 500 mtrs first to the left when you order them to go right. Also a Skaven lord on doomflayer just straight up died when they tried ro climb one the rice paddies. From full health to 0 for no reason.
Slayers, Gyrocopters, Cannons, Goblin Hewers, a roster of line-holding infantry the majority of which has charge defence against large enemies...Take your pick.
As a Bretonnia main the idea that the dwarves need an anti cav unit is a joke. That is the single most one sided matchup in all total war and it's in favor of the dwarves

I like that caravan addition, makes those heroes more viable in a long run and late game. :)

They really need to fix the Bretonnian cavalry corpses still having collision models as it makes fighting against Bretonnia rather annoying

They should have just summarised the battle AI changes as less cheese for the cheese god (Legend)
