- This construction outside my Tokyo room is just a cliche metaphor. But it's helping me stay on course and get more done.
It's helping me with creative patience.
Here's my take for the day.

When I hear people talk about other's lives and gossip about their superiority; That's exactly what I ask about their own development; "What have you built? ". or what are you building?" I get it.. This is the Golden Era and I think many of us are Reaching for Building the New Everything and Getting Rid of the Otherthings... Godspeed dude.. One step at a time / listen to your heart and your minds eye..

Being able to witness something being built can also show what people are capable of when they have a common goal amongst each other and work together. Both are easy to forget, considering we usually only see what was accomplished and rarely see the effort behind it.
ahh dude, for sure! that's a solid point, I totally missed it -- but yea, especially for collaboration or just the power of people working together towards some common goal. This metaphor is so convenient! lol

And the Japanese have the most interesting structures. Check the Foundation's Corners and see if they have Giant Springs under them? Very Cool... I had a Japanese building book; most all in Wood. Their Joints are the most Awesome Puzzle Pieces you'll ever find in wood buildings. Happy Trails Jef Take some classes while you're there / you won't regret it, you'll fall in Love with Japanese..

Yes, you keep chipping away, you think you are building something then the citizen tax bill turns up in your mailbox and you realise with a start that the sand foundation supporting your dreams has been taken away....
