Kedar Tal - A hidden glacial lake

Kedar Tal, also known as Shiva's lake, is a glacial lake situated at an altitude of 4,750 metres (15,600 feet) in the Garhwal region of the Himalayas in India. The lake is fed by the snowfall over Mt Thalay Sagar (6,904m), Meru (6,672m), Mt Bhrigupanth (6,772m) and other surrounding peaks, which are also the source of Kedar Ganga, which in Hindu mythology is considered to be Shiva's contribution to Bhagirathi (a source-stream of the Ganges). The proximity with magnificent peaks and the view this trek offers will make you believe in magic.

When you are on any trek, at the campsite organiser will have toilet tents for the team but when you are on the way to any of your next campsite you'll have to do it..

While camping, we put up dry-pit toilet tents but while walking, you have to go in the open.

a trek route that is completely in India and is trekked by all Indians and having an Indian guide - speak an converse in English,,, is Hindi language so much down rated by Indians... So Unfortunate.

There are people from all across India. In South, people have some issue with understanding Hindi. That might be the reason of conversing in English instead of Hindi.
