- My mom wanted to hang her mixer on the wall. So I made her one, inspired by chisel holder.

Enjoy the video!
I think this is a dandy item. When someone asks you to build/make them something, you don't always have to re-invent the wheel. There's a lot of detail and hard work in that project. You should be proud.
It looks good imo. Fits well with the other colors, textures and types of wood in the kitchen
If your mom is happy with it, that's all that matters. Job well done!
Grandma here, made mine 3 yrs ago. Great convenience.
Poor old Mum, about time you made her something especially after making something for your sister a while back. Guess that's one Christmas present sorted already eh ..lolNice idea.Rgds
Great job. Like the old saying, if moms not happy nobody's happy. Keeping mom happy will make your life better.
Thanks for sharing
Roy
Aahhhh. Ich hab GENAU DEN GLEICHEN Mixer...der ist super Alt und eine TOP Qualität. Geiles Ding!
Grüße von meinem Kanal!
It looks like a very classy premium product.
Another great video, thank you. Please hold the chuck when reversing out of the drilled hole; if the Morse taper gives, you could end up with the chuck and drill bit being flung off. eeek
Love it. Unique and functional.
awesome video, just a note, what you made was a counter-bore. the difference is that a countersink is sloped edges and counter bore is vertical edges
ah, thanks
its ok, somthing rammed into me while doing CAD at college.
I reckon that looks great! Well done, I like it a lot.
It turned out beautifully! Like!
I have to admit, I was a bit worried when I first saw the maple piece on the block, BUT I really like the end result. Nice subtle contrast and overall shape. After all, what else can you do for a kitchen thingy holder.
GREAT project!!
When momma's happy everyone is happy.
That's a really cool idea. You don't think about it, but there's a whole lot of wasted space on a kitchen backsplash. I tried talking my wife into peg board for our for utensils and things like this, but she wasn't having it.
LOL, I thought it was a bathroom shower tap thingy mixer holder until the very end where you mounted it in the kitchen, it still took me a while to realise that the kitchen wasn't the bathroom.
Might be worth picking up a couple cheap action cameras and installing them in a few places just for those "I want footage, but I'm not overly fussed about how it looks", as your main camera is a bit big.
Also helps with the "shit, I hope I don't brake that" when doing more ballistic work.
Hi marius sleek little holder you made there!
hast Du gut gemacht! nice job.
Awesome work ! I like to watch your videos.
Of course your mom likes it! That's her job. :)
I thanks IT became great! Match rest of the klichén also. Great work!
Schöner Halter vorallem die Bauweise ist super. 👍
dude i am so late but i just keep going though your Chanel and awesome man mashala , you are amazing i hope one day ill have a work shop like yours keep up the awesome work you are doing an amazing job
Nice project!
Hm, now I want one of those also! Great job =)
I use my Dremel for everything - 100% my favourite tool. =)
Good job as usual, I like it
Without the context of the cabinets, it looked like you had that mounted in a bathroom in the thumbnail. :)
My little Braun came with a holder. Such an expensive looking piece of equipment must have that as at least an extra?!
It came with a holder. A big piece of plastic to put on the counter. My mum didn't like that.
Marius Hornberger Did a little research and it appears there actually is a wall holder for that brand and shape (Zauberstab) with a hole to thread the spiral through, so if you are unhappy about your own efforts (I don't see why though) get that. :-)
I see you brought a Makita brand impact driver along with another Makita 12 volt hand drill.
I love it.
And moms always right ,, thanks for sharing Regards Alf
what a good damn shining mixer... 1530 euros?? totally germany quality..
when are you making the video about how you got into woodworking?
Nice work :)
Nice wrk like always! Is the blower repair coming?
oh yeah
Now your Mum will make you pumpkin soup more frequently, due to the convenience.
Großartig!
Good video.
nice!
Sollte man sich Gedanken machen, wenn dieser "Holzhalter"unter anderem Nachts in den Träumen auftaucht?
Next time, make sure you unplug the power cord so that you do not get damaged. otherwise good idea
Hmmm... I wonder how your wood working tools would have held up against a block of aluminum?
If you don't like the shape, try cutting the bottom half off - you only need the top.
If you did it 5 months ago you would still have dust collection :D
Doch, mit ungefähr den Worten: "Ich will diesen blöde Plastikteil nicht, mach mir (bitte) was besseres"
why do you offset the holes then put glue another wood?
it looks better with a thinner front end, and thicker at the wall side.
Because that's what I wanted
Might not have been how you imagined it but in my opinion,(for what it's worth) it turned out very cool. Happy accident
What kind of planner are u using
What is the bumpy strap thing to the right of the outlet at 5:05 ... (Sorry if it seems obvious)
You can lower the blinds (they are outside) for the windows with it
I was wondering if that was the case, it just seemed so over-built for that.. Thanks for the response!
so are you going to apply a finish to your sliding door? I just watched the video again so I just remembered your question at the end of it....
yes, but it'll be connected with another project that I haven't done yet
Marius Hornberger nice! looking forward to seeing it! I enjoy your videos. thank you for posting them.
Five months? No biggie. If a man says he'll do something, then he'll do it. Women don't have to remind him every six months!:-D
So true
funktioniert die steckdose noch?
btw, pürierstab (Mixer) in english is blender, not mixer (mixer means sth like mischpult)
English is my first and only language. I have a hand held mixer like the one in the video. A blender has a glass container and sits on a counter.
lots of mixers can blend (at home i have a handheld one which dose both) and lots of blenders can mix.
The remark about sitting on the counter is used just to define which one it may be.
I agree with your verbs about mixing and blending. You could also puree. I was referring to the nouns/names given to such appliances by English speaking people.
Kommst du aus Deutschland ?
Bamix?
Adding to your point about the woodturning, do you ever think that constantly worrying about the camera has ruined the enjoyment of woodworking for you a little bit?
no, I wouldn't say so. The camera is just a part of it now. But especially for wood turning it's especially hard to set the camera up so that you can whats going on. Then you need different angles and so on...constant interruption.
solltest Du jemals zufrieden sein mit Deiner Arbeit, kannst Du damit aufhören;););)
looks great..;-p
