I’ve been trading since 2012 and have made over 16,000 trades. I’ve read Al Brooks books and other price action books. These videos are the best on the internet that I’ve seen, and I’ve seen hundreds. Very clear and right to the point. Put the work in, and be patient for proper set-ups. Another good book is The Mental Game of Trading by Jared Tendler. Enjoy
More of these videos, please. It really helps as a visual learner to see it and hear your expertise while watching the trade!! Very informative!! Thank you.
I truly value the explicit connection to the strategies discussed in the seminars. Jeff's relatable analogies provide captivating visual representations without oversimplifying the information. I personally find this teaching style to be very relatable and effective. Thank you.
Great video, thank you once more SMB. Once I was really trading "in the zone" I found out almost the same strategy, I back tested it and it turned out very difficult to master due to that "zone" which you have to be in. (riding the waves) like you have to be in sync with the market. I called it in my playbook the "Reverse and Chase" strategy. My best run was 6 trades in a row with 4 winners in total 22,6 R profit. (and 3,8 R loss) Its something I never use anymore but with your comments (patience) I might look into it once more.
As a pyjama trader from Australia, SMB is the team I look to first as I develop my trading skills. You guys are tops in my book. G’day from your biggest fan down under!
Jeff, love the scalping strategies. Question for your day-trades, how many days out (expire) to you look for in the option chain? 5-7 days?? Less than that? Especially in the Hitchhiker and Fashionably Late day trades. I appreciate your ideas?
This just enhanced my understanding of auction market theory....... This Pretty much is a real world example ....... Competitive buyers enter at prices they would like to buy at Competitive sellers enter prices they like to sell at Price is an advertisement for an auction to gauge the level of interest for participants..
The pattern there in my opinion is that the chart shows Big down trend, momentum through support sell off, small buy momentum, then consolidation and then big sell off again. small buy momentum, then conslidation, then sell off again. then the buyers finally come back with support. Seems to be the pattern . You could scalp 1- 5 cents during consolidation, or just ride the sell side momentum down or scalp 1-2 cents on the buy side during the sell off let the momentum come towards you by setting your buying price 1 -5 cents lower than what the current trading price is, then sell out position and make a penny or 2 on the buy side while the stock still pushes down, if you know what your doing.
Mike I am grateful for YOU and guys like especially Lance and the team. I feel like part of your work family and one day I hope to be but for now, you and SMB have really helped me to change my life to the better financially. Blessings to you all brother.
Around 17.5 mins in you mentioned, "we're onto a second trade." What was that trade? The break of the low of the first candle was one ... there was no suggestion to get short when it started breaking lower, rather wait for consolidation first, then a breakout.
Well Said... it's Okay to wait for parabolic moves once in a while but more so take advantage and scalp small sure moves that most of the time reoccur in the market
While this provide an actual strategy on trading and how to make gains. After trading stocks for just over 10 years, i'm struggling to make gains presently. How do i adjust or revamp my $230k portfolio? or should i consider some defensive investments?
In this current unstable markets, It is advisable to diversify while retaining 70-80% in secure investments. looking at the worth of your portfolio, you should consider financial advisory.
Right, a lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. I remember some years, I needed a good boost to stay afloat as a tradr, hence researched for advisors and thankfully came across one with grit. As of today, my cash reserve has yielded from $350k to nearly $1m
The first trade you talked about offers a very low risk to reward. You put your stop at the high of the open, but took profit only one candle after the break below.
Obviously when you trade price action you watch your trade. You dont know if you are engering 1:1 trade or 1:5 trade or Break even or a loss. Thats what active price action trading is
Thanks Jeff !! Great explanations. So with the Fash late scalp you can take it with checks in favor on the 9 up through Vwap and if it sets later to the short side on a 9 break of Vwap to the downside for a short on the same stock ?
It seems that no matter what i do i always loose. The market get my stop loss and moves the other way. I have had trending days where i was in the right side of the trend and got stopped out 5 times. Its frustraiting

Super helpful to see a live-style PA commentary.

@georgeh Please who guides you on the process of it all? I’ve been down a ton, I’m only holding on so I can recoup.
She's one "Amber Russell Bennett", she also maintains an online presence. Just make a simple search for her name online.
Thanks for this. Found her and looked through her credentials before contacting her. Once again many thanks.
Great Video on how to implement. That's the future of a good prodcut! Implementation.
I trade future, can you use these scalps in future trading?
Связка отличная, респект автору!
Very helpful, thanks for this detailed explanation
How do you size correctly then, how do you determine what is the correct size for any given trade?
backtesting with hindsight is too EZ. how about forward testing in a live environment?
Hi... great video and great learning.. please continue with similar types.... thanks
These 4 setups are pretty much all I have been using in the last 3 months , up a little over 60% in my account since the scalping program came out .

Great video SMB team. Looking forward to seeing more videos on scalping. Could you please clarify the timeframe used in this chart?

I think it is assumed but do you guys recommend using the 9 EMA line for following the trend price action?
Amazing video! Much needed going into next week changes indeed
What is other than just price action trade only? What it does it mean?
Fundamentals
Thanks a lot Mike for the video. A quick question what is generally recommended for such trades options or futures?

Jeff says: “DO IT!”
Hello. How is seth ??
Good clip gents, thanks
Hi Jeff, great video. What timeframe is this? It looks shorter than a minute. Is it 30sec?
what stock and date was this? Thx.
Many, many stocks have been doing this pattern daily for over a month.
And has been a pattern to be aware of for 20+ years.
Is that a 10ema moving average please?
I think he said 9 Ema
Indecador??
Thanks Jeff !! Great explanations. So with the Fash late scalp you can take it with checks in favor on the 9 up through Vwap and if it sets later to the short side on a 9 break of Vwap to the downside for a short on the same stock ?
